They were playing tag, but the rule was no one was really allowed to use any of their skills to cheat. Theresa, Andy, and Cassie made friends immediately, although they've just met her two hours ago. She was kind, and most of all, friendly.

They were out of their minds, no one really did think of where they were or the fact that they were lost and were definitely making their family worried. They were just young, even their minds. And that they were simply enjoying being in the village, playing with Theresa. But just in a matter of time, the parents of the both were there, right in the village.

The playing of the tag stopped, everyone watched them walk. Watched as their faces grew more worried as they walk through the crowd. They didn't look directly, they were turning their heads. They were definitely looking for them.

"We're in huge trouble, Cassie." Andy whispered to his best friend standing beside. "We're doomed. We're dead." She said. "Are they your parents?" Theresa asked, put her hand just above her eyes to shield her eyes from the sun, and to see clearer.

"They are."

The four silhouettes came out of the darkness, it was then that they already found the two kids. Vanessa jogged towards them, moved her lips as she did. No one could make out her words, but it obviously meant that she was happy to see them, especially her son, Andy. They got closer, the worries in their faces faded, changed to a happy one. They were all grinning to see them, and Andy waved to them. They were still standing there, the three kids were.

Cassie saw her mother froze in place, fear and fury was all around her eyes when she looked at Theresa. She looked at the girl beside her, revealed that her eyes widened and was full of surprise when she looked back. "No." She had heard her whisper that, even if it was too quiet. She was about to open her mouth, to ask about Theresa's reaction when she saw her mom.

She looked shocked, and something was fishy in the looks. She looked at her mother, observed whether she got the same reaction Theresa was feeling or not. She suddenly raised her both hands shakily, pointing towards Theresa.

There were strange colors around her both hands, mostly, dark. It was all a black glow, it looked so magical, though it was all black, but white glitters were sparkling. She was a beautiful fairy in a kid movie. She was feeling an emotion of anxiousness, something might just happen right in that time and place. And it's going to be not so good.

Despite that bad feeling, though, she still felt good for her mother. This was the only time she saw the power she was hiding all her life since she gave birth to her child. Cassandra was so excited to see how strong Clarissa's skill will be, since she have learnt the news that her grandmother had a rare ability to eradicate an individual. Her mother had probably inherited the skill.

The glow then grew bigger and bigger, until it began traveling all the way from her hands, forming a straight, black line of horrors. Cassandra immediately reacted, realized that she was really going to kill Theresa. She ran to her front. "No!" She managed to yell that, rising her hands, too, in a position like pushing a hard barrier with great force, as if she could stop her with only her bare hands. She heard her friend screamed, her reaction just by backing a few steps away.

Of course, she closed her eyes when Cassie did that. She was wondering, why wasn't there any loud sound happening or even, why couldn't she even feel such a pain? There was a problem, there was.

She opened her eyes slowly, everyone was shocked. The black line that should've been traveling towards Theresa was cut. There was a gigantic bubble around them, horizontal numerous lines vibrating like there was electricity present there, and that bubble was incredibly protecting them, blocking the vampires inside from Clarissa's power. This time, she was a villain.

Still, nobody moved. Disbelief was all in their eyes as they tried to look around, examining how it was happening. Cassandra didn't even put down her hands, she knew that it all came from her hands. And it was her power, just in a flash she now know that she had a strong power.

It was in her blood, too, they were evidently invincible and that their skill were very much rare. She was blocking Clarissa's powers, and that shield came all the way from her. She was fighting her own mother now. She gazed at her, waited for the time when she will open her eyes. Less than a second, she did, seeing that her eyes were the biggest and her eyes overflowing with mixed emotions. She opened her mouth, obviously didn't also believe what was happening in front of her.

Cassandra also saw her father from the bubble, couldn't move, his eyes staring directly at her with awe. But as soon as Clarissa finally recovered, realized that Cassandra was stopping her, Jake ran to hug his wife. They both bowed down to the ground, she watched as she wept, but it wasn't clear what her tears meant.

Cassie was tired struggling already. She rested, and the lines vanished. Everyone couldn't even speak, Andy's parents looked at her shortly, then went to Clarissa.
