The two of them went down, seeing everyone preparing for the wedding, and some of them exiting the house. She saw Cara, who was telling the visitors to go out. Vanessa was just behind them, and a guy looked at them, who also waved.
It must be Carl, she thought. And his hair was ridiculously full of hair gel and spikes. "You should go out now!" Vanessa whispered from behind them. Carl grinned, then went out, followed by the Mullens. Cara also gave them a sign before going out, gesturing her head, telling to go out now. "Let's go, let's go." Vanessa whispered, her left hand holding Clarissa's wrist, and her other holding the corner of her dress. "Where are we going?" She asked. "The wedding is just beside this house, so what we're gonna do is that we will take the opposite side of the house so that no one would see you." She instructed.
Vanessa walked fast, her heels were so loud tapping the grass. And Clarissa was just walking slow, trying to be calm, because she was thinking that walking fast with a high heels on might result to an accident for some reason. And she was half-resisting. "You're too fast, Vanessa." She said, grinning when they were out of the house. "We're out of time, miss." She said seriously.
She ignored it, the feeling that was after all useless. She tried to walk faster, and faster until they both slowed down when she saw that there was a half- dark curtain covering them. "Stand here, Rissa." Vanessa pointed her finger, and she followed, in front of her were beautiful bridesmaids and groomsmen. They smiled at her, and of course, she returned it.
"I'm gonna go stand here." Vanessa whispered, rushing to her position ridiculously with her stomach feeling heavy. They all heard that the music began, and the curtains finally opened. They marched, and Clarissa waited for them. Her heartbeat begun beating quickly as the line decreased. Then it was now visible to her, the people sitting there at both sides, when Vanessa was the one next in line.
Her friend started walking slowly, and then she noticed Amanda, who was still undressed, ran to guide the proper timing. And then she gave it, the bouquet of flowers that were very colorful. She could smell that it was freshly picked in the woods. "Go." She whispered to her, smiling. And then she started walking there, on the red carpet at the aisle. Her eyes was just glued at Jake, who was doing the same thing. She noticed, too, that her heart beat quicker. She almost cried, but managed to stop it when she thought that there were people watching her, their heads following her direction. The music also made her cry, almost, which was developed by violins played by two younger kids, Clarissa could tell that these were part of Amanda's family.
She was done, and there she met Jake. Who magically looked as if he was the luckiest man who got everything he wanted his entire life. She smiled walking towards him, and got his hand and held it. They walked to the center then said their vows.
Finally, they kissed, touching each other's lips. The flavor, felt sweet, and right now, marked the first day of their lives that changed as a single person. They looked at the audience, who clapped and cheered. They took the final march, but now, together. Different colors of flower petals were thrown to them, and they grinned. Those grins were though different, they both knew, that it deserves to be shown in an entire day. It simply means that day was the happiest.
