After again their classes, the best friends were again found outside the Mullen's house, daydreaming. Their heads resting on the clean grass. "I'm so done doing this. Boring." Andy said, rolling his eyes. "This is fun. We've just done this for like, twice." She told her, and rose. "Yeah, I know." He nodded, then stood. "Just admit it, Cassandra. I quite know you." He smirked.

"Okay, it's fifty-fifty. I was just enjoying my over-imagining." She fixed herself, did a cross-leg position. "We can do that anytime." He answered. "What do you want to do?" She asked him, she could read he wanted to do something quite causing trouble. He looked to his left and right before talking. "Let's go somewhere we've never been to." He began to grin, and in that grin was excitement. She just raised an eyebrow, wasn't convinced at all. "You don't want to take a walk in the woods there?"

"Please agree with me." He was serious now, and that made her laugh. "What are we gonna do there?" She was grinning. "We could hunt for food there." He shrugged. "Will it be just the two of us?" She asked. "Of course. We'll do an escape." He gave a look telling it will be fun for them. "Well, what are we waiting for?" She asked him, then stood straight. "Are we waiting for us to get caught? Let's go!" She gestured her head, then Andy stared at her, gave an appreciated smile.

They both ran, as if somebody was chasing them that wanted to kill or eat them. They ran so fast, kilometers away from the houses. The run was quick that they actually almost flew, discovered that they could move like a lightning flash. They stared at each other, giving a bewildered look. Then, they decided to stop since they were too far from the houses.

They were catching their breaths, one was resting his hand on the tree, the other on her knees. "What did we just do?" Andy asked when they got their energies back. "We ran! Quick!" She yelled. "This is so weird." He said quietly, then they walked casually. "What are we gonna do here in these woods?" She asked him. "I don't know. Let's just keep walking, who knows we could be discovering something else." His voice was echoing through the forest.

They kept on walking for two hours straight, the two kids knew that their walk led to nothing. Somehow, they've made discoveries, found different small creatures crawling in different trees and observed how they moved. That was enough for them, they were contented with what they already saw. Meanwhile, their stomachs began crumbling, making different, weird sounds as they walked.

"It's actually noontime." Cassie said as she checked her watch her father gave. "Where'd you get your clock?" Andy asked, stared at the pure black and round watch worn around her hand. Cassie grinned, looking at her wrist. "You call it a wristwatch. It's funny, you noticed it. I just borrowed it once, beautiful isn't it? And then he said it could be mine." She informed him.

Minutes passed when the noise returned once again. "My, we should really be hunting, or else we'll be dying of hunger." She told him. "Where do you think do these animals live?" He asked, their walk didn't stop. "Somewhere here. They should be around, though." She looked around. "I'm tired." He stopped from walking. "If we're going to rest, we'll still die."

"We should hunting for food." He repeated, then rolled his eyes.

"Fine. I will walk with you." He said, followed her jog. "Just look around you. They could be hiding. And be quiet." She instructed. They went farther, deeper to the wild, mysterious forest. They've been noticing, that the trees that were once tall and countless began to dwindle. The next thing they saw, was that there were a few trees cut into half.

"Where are we?" He was completely confused, even in his words was obvious. "I don't know." She answered, their walk starting to be slower and slower. They were more focused to look at their unfamiliar surroundings. They arrived into a clearing, saw some dark-brown tents in there that seemed to be made of woods and some leaves from the trees. They entered there, only revealed that there were people living there. The place they thought was a ghost town, but suddenly people began appearing.

There were vampires living in the place.

"This is cool." He commented, grinning as he looked at the tents resting on the ground. "Do you think we're safe doing this?" She whispered to his ears. They grew more confused and confused as they took steps forward. The people increased, but what's odd is that they kept on doing their works, kept on walking around, didn't even look at them for just once.

"What do you mean?" He asked her, refusing to look. "We could be trespassing." She said, she started to shiver. "Chill, Cassie. They all look good people." He told her. "Look," he pointed to their far north. "He could see us." He added.

"He's watching us." Her voice was shaky, felt even more scared on what could possibly happen between them. "We should go." She whispered. "No," Andy grabbed her arm to make sure she won't. "He looks kind. Let's try to ask for food to them."
