She couldn't believe it, she was giving them a bewildered look. What do they even mean by that word? That word broke the other half of her heart, but somehow she felt very happy for it. Happy for Jake being jealous about it. If these two people standing right in front of her weren't telling the truth, then why would they say that to her? If they really didn't, then it wouldn't make any sense.

The only answer to that was yes. "How's this possible?" Her voice was real shaky. She lost her energy from the back, then had a a bad posture on the bed. "Clarissa, you know that you passed out." Chris sounded like he was asking a question. She nodded her head, still waited for the answer. "That's one evidence." He told her, resting his elbow on the table as he sat down.

"No, what I actually mean is that yes, I am aware that I passed out. But my question here is that what did you do to reveal that I was carrying a fetus?" She said, still a part of doubting the news. "I'm a doctor, Clarissa. You know that. Of course, if I'd be checking my patient, then I'm examining everything. Everything. More like completing it." He emphasized and repeated the word. "Did you do an ultrasound?" She asked, and this was making a bit of amusement. "Certainly."

"Who else knows this?" She asked looking at Jake. "Just the three of us." He replied. "When do we plan to tell them that?" She looked at both the them. "I mean, they always will know that. My stomach gets bigger." She almost whispered the words.

"The very time we'll all go out of this room, we're gonna have to tell them the truth." Jake pointed with his finger. "And we should go probably go out right now. They might be wondering why we're staying here for too long." Chris began walking, opened the door and saw Elizabeth was walking pass the door. "Let's go." He whispered to her. "Jake," they both stood. "I'm feeling nervous about this." She said, holding her stomach. "Me either. Let's just go." He was such in a hurry.

The time they exited the room, she felt more nervous. It was like going to the stage for a major performance with thousands of audience watching her - that was what she felt. Her heart quickened as they walk to where the majority vampires were, the living room. She could also feel her teeth shaking uncontrollably inside her mouth. This was the only time she was feeling that kind of much emotion. "Everyone," Jake tried to get their attention first. "Clarissa and I are going to say something very important." He said, as if he were making a speech. "And it's a great one." He added, his teeth beginning to appear.

"What is it?" Vanessa asked. "We can't wait to hear this." Lucas said right after Vanessa. "There's gonna be another part of the family," he was forced to stop because everyone began cheering and clapping.  "I've been waiting for this for a long, long time. And I know you also do." He grinned, patting her shoulder repeatedly. "When was this?" Elizabeth asked, her voice fading, her hands covering her mouth. "I don't know." She replied, shrugging her shoulders at the same time. Vanessa stood, then stared for a short time, but she prioritized the hug. "Finally." Was only she whispered to her ear.

"You should complete your ultrasound scan twice for one month." Chris informed her. "Yes, daddy." She nodded, smiling. "I'm finally going to be have a grandchild!" Elizabeth cheered as she stood to get a hug from her daughter. "Yeah." She said lazily, wrinkling her nose.
