"That feels so good, isn't it?" She sighed in relief as she walked away from the elder's dead body. "Feels good?! After killing an innocent man, Fiona? He took care of me, you merciless and cruel woman!" Theresa finally screamed that, but she was too late, and she was definitely regretting that. She indeed lost her full respect to her own mother. Fiona's face was full of surprise and confusion. "He's the reason why I'm alive!" She was throwing her finger to the elder wildly as she spoke, she was full of fidgets and tears. "I don't care about every single word you all say. All I know is that it's all lies."
"She's crazy." Andy whispered at Cassie. "I can't believe that happened in just a flash." She said.
"And by the way, this is going to be the greatest war of all time. We're making a history. Wolves and vampires against vampires." She smirked, still didn't leave her face. That made everyone be utterly confused. How did she know that, anyway?
"Thanks to this precious girl, who betrayed every living vampire creature there." She said, continuing her evil laugh. No one dared to respond, but Clarissa felt very confused at what Fiona said. She tried to remember, for any different moments she had experienced so far, but simply, for this time, she couldn't think of any. Theresa was just what's in her mind, the trust to her was entirely hard to be earned, despite what just happened between her and the elder. There was a short silence, Cassie gazing, still, at her aunt. Who was still shivering and trembling in fear. It was as if she was in an extreme cold temperature.
"Would you all like me to introduce her to you?" She smiled. "I'd be glad to." She didn't wait for them, continued speaking without even stopping. She looked at Cara, who was just standing by Jake's side. Her eyes got as wide as ever the time the enemy threatened her just by giving her a gaze. She remained in her place for seconds, obviously, deciding. When everyone began looking at Cara, Cassie moved her head, the view being obscured. She never stopped shaking, and again, Fiona raised her both eyebrows looking at her. Physically, she was grinning like a happy woman in a usual day, but emotionally, she was mad.
At the corner of her eye, she noticed that Fiona's slaves moved suddenly, making her look at them. They were all positioned in an attack mode, Cara also saw it, just like everybody else, and she absolutely got no more choice but to move whatever she had to do. She walked going beside Fiona, after she did, Fiona smirked even sharper. "Perhaps, I should've been quicker to tell this to each and every one of you, I'm sorry. Thanks to Cara, who's just standing beside me. She gave an additional power for it to be the greatest, almost. She told me everything I wanted to know. She's strong, as well as her ability." She glanced at Cara, who's mouth was shut, who's face was absolutely humiliated. Clarissa took a deep breath, after Fiona spoke. There was an outburst between her, and everyone else standing behind and beside her, as she thought. She wasn't even sure what emotion would she show to the people there, different, random, strong emotions were orbiting her mind wildly, and rapidly that was almost making her head ache.
She has to cry, after all, she was being betrayed and she had been. Now, she thought about things well. Realizing the very reason why there were typical moments when Cara couldn't read the past whenever she asked for help, she was probably just lying. Lies with her were finally uncovered. She was shuddering of anger, and fear.
She took a short peek at Jake, her husband, thinking about what he told her the other day, meanwhile. All the reasons that he told her why Cara sometimes couldn't help her—some kind of faints and passing out of Cara practically, always. She didn't even know if it was another lie or not. Jake looked at her, finally, giving her a pitied look. He might've read her mind, her feelings, and all now.
Cara unexpectedly walked towards her, without talking to Fiona. It was because of all people uniting in one feeling, she was the chosen one to be comforted by her once-sister. "Clarissa," she was crying, countless tears falling wildly across her face. Due to her overthinking, she didn't even know whether those tears were genuine or just fake, and an act. "I'm so sorry," she told that words by words. That's not enough, she told herself. "I know I couldn't say the right words, to be honest with you. I did this for one thing only: to protect your lives," the both girls knew her voice was silent enough to be not heard by everyone. She glanced at Fiona after that, then back to her. She sobbed. "I'm sorry, Clarissa. For everything I've done. But, I swear, I've told everything you need to know about what happened to you past mother's loss. And your father, too. I swear, believe me. I just want to tell you that every bad thing that's happening to your life is all Fiona's plan." She ended that, now took a few steps backward for everyone to somehow see her presence, or anything similar to that.
Clarissa couldn't even understand what she was trying to tell.
"I know you're all confused. I know everyone of you isn't believing at every word my mouth is telling you. I beg for your ears, just for this time. I betrayed you, yes I did. I've got nothing to deny that fact. I don't care anymore if that cruel woman is going to kill me for what I've said. I'm sorry." She said, smiling and half-whispering the last thing she said right before being stabbed by Fiona. Cara barely finished her last words.
When her body fell, there was another outburst of gasps, and mixed reactions, some even joined with loud screams made by the teenagers, and Theresa. Clarissa's face was in pure shock as she watched Jake carrying her dead, bloody body. He knelt down on the ground. "You'll pay for this!" He yelped, his sister's blood almost was being washed by tears. Her heart felt heavy as it fell into an abyss, at the same time, a spear had been pierced into it. Everyone had gone mad, that seemed to start, later, a war. "She's gone insane!" Andy screamed, had a difference, just changed the word and made it worse.
