Imagine Klaus being protective over you when the Salvatore's come over for a little 'visit'
You were very close to the Salvatore brothers, they almost were your brothers but long ago, you did have a thing with both of them but it doesn't make anything awkward it almost makes you all closer. Klaus doesn't really like your closeness with the Salvatore brothers though. Since you were living in Mystic Falls, Klaus tried to be with you as often as possible when he wasn't in New Orleans. Mostly so he could keep an eye on you and what the Salvatore brothers were up to.
Today Damon wanted you over, he said he hadn't talked to you since your overprotective boyfriend came for a visit. You decided not to take it in an offendings way and accepted his invitation. You told him you'd be over in about 10 but you would have to sneak past Klaus, which, never ends well. You slide your leather jacket on and quietly grab the car keys, heading for the door. You then hear a cough from behind you. You slowly turn around to find Klaus with his arms folded looking at you suspiciously,
"Where are you going?"
You play it cool and answer calmly,
"To the Salvatore's."
Klaus' face changes in a way that you couldn't put your finger on but it wasn't good,
"No."
You roll your eyes and argue,
"Klaus, I can do whatever the hell I want so back off."
You opened the door, stepped out and slammed the door behind you.
You couldn't believe you just did that. A bunch of questions raced through your mind. Was Klaus going to snap? Was he going to become jealous? Will he become sad? Will he attack the Salvatore's? You contemplated going back to the house and apologizing but why should you? You can do whatever you want; Klaus is definately not the boss of you. You finally made it to the Salvatore's house and walked in the door, Damon was there in a heartbeat,
"Well, well, well. Managed to get past the big bad wolf I see?"
You laughed and lightly punched Damon's shoulder,
"It didn't go well. I ended up storming out."
This caused Damon to smirk,
"You ARE a feisty one."
You let that conversation drop and you both talked about other things while drinking.
It was getting late and you were quite drunk, Damon offered to take you home but you declined. Damon being Damon, he lifted you up, put you in his car and brought you back home.

You woke up in bed without Klaus at your side and you started to worry that you did something. You got up and walked down the hall to the kitchen to see Klaus was already there,
"Good morning."
You said it awkwardly,
"Good morning Love"
You walked over to him. He was standing at the counter looking through something. You wrapped your arms around his waist and rested your head on his shoulder. It was silent for a while until Klaus broke it,
"I'm sorry for the way I acted yesterday. You're right, I can't control you. Damon and I might not get along very well but he brought you back here safely. Back here to me. I love you Y/N."
He turns around and kisses your forehead before engulfing you into an embrace,
"I love you too."
