Imagine #3 part 2
My mind was all over the place at this point. I had to stay to protect the Salvatore brothers but if I stayed then I would be at risk for being caught. It had been 3 weeks since I encountered Katherine and I must say that she has been using the brother's love for her, against them. My heart goes out to Damon though, I know Katherine and her ways and Damon has no chance against Stefan yet he's the one who's fallen for her the most. Since Katherine and her 'maiden' Emily were staying with the Salvatore's as well, it was very hard to ignore her, no matter how hard I tried. I walked outside to clear my head to see the two boys playing some sort of game with a ball. I caught their attention when they heard my heels clicking on the stairs down to the grass filled ground,
"Ah, Miss Y/N. Care to walk with me?"
Damon asked you when your feet finally hit the grass. Damon seemed very excited to walk with you so you couldn't resist,
"Of course Mr. Salvatore."
You giggled as you saw Damon's expression when you said it,
"I've told you before, it's alright to call me Damon."
You smile and nod,
"I know. I was only teasing, Damon"
He rolled his eyes but laughed, holding out his arm for you to take, which you did.

You had been talking for quite sometime just about random things and the game that Stefan and Damon had been playing but the same question came to the front of your mind every once in awhile. Why did he really want to go for a walk,
"Damon? Why did you really take me on this walk?"
He turned to you and smiled, which you did as well,
"There's this girl and she's amazing. I can't stop thinking about her and her beautiful eyes, her gorgeous smile and her silky hair. Y/N?"
You're heart almost stopped, was he professing his love for you?
"Yes?"
You're heart was pounding in your throat, you were so excited,
"Y/N I think I'm falling in love with Katherine,"
Your heart then sank to the ground at the name. You thought of running and never coming back. You never wanted to hear Katherine's name again. You knew you had to get out of this subtly,
"That's, um, great. I have to, uh, I have to go. Excuse me."
You turned and ran, the skirt of your dress balled up in your hands, tears stinging the back of your eyes, threatening to spill. When you knew that Damon could no longer see you, you vamp sped back to the house, where you were met by Stefan,
"Y/N? What's wrong?"
The tears fell from your clouded eyes at those very words and Stefan pulled you into a tight embrace, guiding you inside, to his room, sitting you down on his bed still comforting you. Once you could no longer cry, you cleared your throat to tell Stefan,
"I just. I want you to know right now that I love you and Damon,"
You took a deep breath and Stefan nodded for you to continue,
"When Damon was taking me on the walk, I thought it was going to be special. Something about him and I but it turned out that the only reason he brought me on the walk was to tell me that he was in love with Katherine."
Tears were forming and you could feel it but you quickly blinked them away and turned your head away from Stefan. Stefan turned your head gently to face him, his green eyes piercing your eyes,
