You and Damon had gotten into a fight, again. You both were fighting over the stupidest things and it had gotten out of hand.
"I'm sick and tired of all this fighting!"
You screamed, hoping he would just listen.
"I'm sorry that you find the dumbest things to fight about!"
He screamed back. At that point you had broke, snapped in half. You had taken so many hits and now it was to hard to take it. The tears brimmed your eyes and your vision started to blur but before you let Damon see you cry, you ran to your shared bedroom and locked the door, sobbing into your pillow. You had bottled up all those feelings and they were finally letting your tears run.
Damon P.O.V
My heart sank when I saw her beautiful Y/E/C eyes begin to look glassy from tears. I regretted it all, the yelling, the fighting, everything. My heart hurt and ached and I didn't know what to do. I went upstairs to our bedroom only to find the door locked and hear faint sobs. It made my heart break even more so I knocked on the door.
"Y/N? Please open up the door."
She sobbed even louder which was my signal to give her some space.
*2 hours later*
I started to get worried when Y/N's sobs didn't stop. I went upstairs and knocked on the door again.
"Y/N I'm begging you to open up this door! I'm so so sorry."
But the sobs didn't stop. I had to phone Y/B/F/N for help.
"Hello?"
" Y/B/F/N I need your help, it's Y/N"
"Ok, I'm on my way."
Y/B/F/N got here and walked right in and punched me in the arm, very pissed off looking. I couldn't blame her, I would be too. I started to follow her but she whipped around and glared daggers towards me,
"You stay here, you've done enough."
I poured a drink and sat quietly in the livingroom.
Y/N P.O.V
You heard knocking at the door again but you couldn't will yourself to stop crying, the tears came pouring down your cheeks and you couldn't stop.
"Y/N? Come and unlock the door."
It was Y/B/F/N, she was here and you couldn't have been happier although the tears continued to fall. You unlocked the door and she came rushing in, closing the door and locking it behind her. She engulfed you in a tight embrace and she walked over to your's and Damon's bed and sat down while continuing to hug you.
"Y/N tell me what happened."
You tried to calm down your breathing but it was excruciatingly hard. You still managed to calm down your breathing before you continued to sob.
"Y/B/F/N, Damon and I have been fighting again and I can't handle it anymore."
You managed to get out.
"Honey, if this is the way you feel then break up with him, he's not worth your tears. Someone could be waiting out there for you and you're here wasting your time with Damon."
But you weren't wasting your time,
"Y/B/F/N, I love Damon, so so much. It would break my heart to leave him. I just, I just wish that we wouldn't fight about the stupidest things. Y/B/F/N, I love him."
Realization hit you like a ton of bricks and Y/B/F/N noticed.
"You stay here ok? I'm gonna get you some water."
But you knew that she wasn't leaving to get water.
Damon P.O.V
Y/B/F/N came down the stairs and I stood up quick.
"Damon, I don't know how or even why Y/N even loves you but she does. You're very lucky to have a girl like that."
I exhale lightly,
"I know I am."
I walk upstairs and Y/B/F/N follows me to the door. I knock on the door then opened it, revealing Y/N's tear-stricken face. She stands up from the side of the bed and I rush over to her and engulf her in a tight embrace. I cradle her head in my hand and I bury my head into the side of her neck.
"Y/N, I'm so so so sorry. I love you so much that I can't believe I said the things I did."
She pulls back and looks me in the eye,
"I love you too. I hate fighting with you, so SO much."
I pull her back into the embrace,
"Me too."
Y/N P.O.V
He whispers in your ear,
"Me too."
Behind him Y/B/F/N stands by the door and smiles while shaking her head, arms crossed. After a few seconds she mouths 'call me later' and walks away. You whisper in his ear,
"Let's never fight like that again."
You feel him nod,
"Agreed."
