Imagine Enzo listening to 1000 words by sweetbox
Enzo was driving while you were sitting in the passenger seat, listening to your music through the car speakers when one of your favourite songs came on, 1000 words by Sweetbox. You placed your hands on Enzo's free hand and looked to him,
"Enzo, listen to this song."
He scoffed,
"I kind of have to, gorgeous."
You rolled your eyes but watched Enzo's facial expressions.
Your words were like a dream but dreams can never fool me, not that easily.
Enzo had a disgusted look on his face and you gasped,
"What's that face for?!"
He laughed and shook his head,
"No offense darling but this is a horrible song."
You scoffed,
"You haven't even listened to 2 minutes of it."
He looked to you confused,
"Isn't that almost the whole song by then?"
You smirked evilly,
"There's actually 6 minutes."
Enzo groaned and you just sang along to the words,
Save your tears 'cause I'll come back. I could hear that you whispered as you walked through that door, but still I swore, to hide the pain when I turn back the pages. Shouting might have been the answer. What if I'd cried my eyes out and begged you not to depart?

A few days later, you walked through the quiet house and decided to play 1000 words, just to make Enzo mad. You could hear Enzo in the kitchen but he didn't say anything about the song so you had high hopes that he finally liked the song,
"I knew you would like it!"
You walked around the corner to come face to face with another vampire, holding Enzo by the neck and beside him was a witch, doing some sort of spell that was making Enzo unable to move or speak. You slowly back away and when you started to turn, the vampire sped up to you and grabbed you by the neck, cutting off your air. You struggled against the vampires grip but no matter what, he wouldn't let you go,
"I guess you should've thought of the consequences when you killed my true love,"
The vampire put you down but held you by the sides of your head, you were facing Enzo. His face went to complete fear and you knew you couldn't do anything. All you could do was mouth out 'I love you' to Enzo,
"Now I'm gonna kill yours."
You closed your eyes and and felt a excruciating pain to your neck until there was no pain at all.

Enzo's POV
I watched her die in front of me and I couldn't do anything to stop it. As soon as she was dead, the witch stopped her spell and the vampire got away. I rushed over to Y/N's side, I sat beside her silent, as the music to her song 1000 words kept on playing.

For days, 1000 words was my depressing song, my grieving song. I never finished it because it hurt too much to keep playing it. Y/N didn't deserve her fate. Y/N deserved a family, a life, and because of my actions, she could never have that.

It's been 2 months now, I've gotten to the end of the song a few times now but I don't understand why Y/N was so excited to have me hear this song and understand it in some way, in my own way, my own meaning. I've stayed awake at night, trying to figure out what I want it to mean.

I've learned the words by now and all I can remember is the way Y/N would sing it. It made me remember the happy times with her and I've started to sing it now, sing it with passion, still not knowing what it means to me.

It's been a long time since I've listened to 1000 words. I got bored of it, not knowing my meaning for it but I know Y/N would want me to find my meaning for this song so I'm listening to it once more,

I finally realized it. This song did have a meaning to me, it was that no matter what, we would always have each other, Y/N would always be able to hear me, no matter what. Y/N would always be here for me, I'd always relive that horrible day but Y/N's always here. She just wanted me to know that I could always tell her whatever I was feeling, everything that was happening to me would happen to her.

Y/N's POV
I was watching from the other side, watching Enzo solve what this song meant to him. I wish I could've told him that I was a werewolf before I left him. I watched as he sat quietly, listening to the lyrics of the song. When it ended, he started speaking as if I was there, telling me what it meant to him, telling me what I wanted him to say for a long time.
He finally understands what it means to him, he finally understands that I'm here for him even though he doesn't truly know it.
