*UNEDITED, I didn't even read over this one, I got excited, I'm sorry* Also, double update, how rad is that?

"Okay, I need everything we've gathered on Rob since the party."

The girls were gathered in the living room, scattered on the couches with Jett being the only one standing before them. She had called up the team meeting as soon as they'd come back, the sternness in the voice giving little room for argument. Jinx had attempted to ask about their supposed date but Jett's blank stare was enough to get her to drop the subject and focus on the matter at hand. She didn't have time for personal matters, it seemed, she was in full assassin mode. She had even changed out of the previous night's clothing into a tight black t-shirt, army pants and combat boots. Kayden was almost certain that, somewhere deep down, Jett was just as big a sucker for theatrics as he was. She was just more subtle in showing it.

As soon as the command had left Jett's lips the girls started talking.

"Regardless of what he does throughout the day we've found out that he's always home between 6 and 7 pm, without fail. We also think he goes to bed sometime after 12 and rises at 5." Jazz rattled off obediently, consulting a piece of paper that had been conveniently crumpled in the pocket of her baggy sweatpants.

"We don't know much about his security system but I'm guessing it's a little more sophisticated than most." Jinx added, looking a little peeved at her lacking contribution, "but that's just based on the number of camera's and guard's we've found around the perimeter."

Jett had filled him in on what they knew so far on the drive back to the apartment. He was almost surprised by how little he had actually known about the operations. He still had gaps missing. When he had asked Jett how she planned to bypass the security problem— as it was obvious she had come up with a plan due to the determined set to her shoulder's and glint in her eyes— she had told him to wait. Leaning against the closed front door while the girls spoke, he was still waiting. Though, it seemed that they were getting close to the reveal. Especially when Naziah voiced the question that he didn't doubt was on everyone's lips.

"You've thought of a way to get around this, haven't you?"

Jett bit the inside of her cheek before she shrugged "kind of but..." she trailed off before looking to Kayden, "It involves Mark."

Kayden blinked in shock before his brain properly registered what she was saying. "Excuse me?"

"Robert is back in town, it would be naïve of us to assume that he hasn't attempted to get into contact with Mark." Jett started and before Kayden could open his mouth to argue for his friend's innocence she held up a hand to stop him. "I'm not saying that he's working with his father. I'm saying that he knows his father is here and we can use that to our advantage."

Kayden raised his brows at that, "how, exactly?" He asked, the warning clear in his tone. He wouldn't advocate for a plan that would put Mark in any obvious danger.

"We blow our cover."

That was immediately met with protests from almost every person in the room.

"Are you nuts?"

"Jett think rationally about this, we've already revealed too much to an outsider—"

"Management will have our heads if we step out of line any further!"

Jett waited patiently for them to settle down, Naziah was the only one who remained as silent as Jett had. She observed the standing girl with a calculating gaze in full display over her features. When she opened her mouth, the apartment fell into silence once more.

"You want to enact the Citizen Protection Protocol again," she looked Jett in the eyes as she spoke.

Kayden caught the way Jinx had hesitated at that and shot him a worried look. He guessed that moment was as good as any to get more information on the Protocol.

"What does that even entail? Because you guys throw it around a lot and it sounds like a good thing but when you say it you look like someone's dog just died."

The girls shared a look, a thousand conversations passing between them in the time span of three seconds before Jett shrugged at him. "It's classified."

"Don't give me that shit," Kayden immediately snapped back. He was in too deep to be shut out with those kinds of excuses. He had basically become a part of the team. They couldn't block him out just because it was more convenient for them.

"You'll find out soon enough, Kayden," Naziah reassured tone deceptively sweet as a smirk passed over her features, "and I can guarantee you won't like it."

Jazz sent her twin a glare, hissing at her to 'shut the fuck up.'

Though, Kayden ignored it in favour of looking to Jett, who had already been staring at him. There was something hard in her gaze and the way her lips had pursed slightly to tell him that she didn't agree with the Protocol either. He felt his stomach twist at the realisation. If Jett had reservations than whatever they'd have to do to him was not going to be enjoyable, to say the least.

She looked away first, unable to look at the betrayal splashed across his features for too long.

Continuing on as if the deviation hadn't happened, she explained the rest of the plan to them all.
