3 (Part 2)

After his mum left Kayden decided to pay Chelsea a visit. She was his go to whenever he was in a bad mood or just plain horny. Granted he wasn't as annoyed as he was before seeing his mum but he still wanted to blow off a little steam. He and Chelsea had quite a special bond in the form of a fully function, no strings attached, friends with benefits relationship.

The two of them had an agreement where whenever they were too emotionally overwhelmed and needed to cool off— or were just plain horny and couldn't be bothered to pick up a one night stand— they would be each other's point of call. They found it quite beneficial to have someone who understood, without needing to be told, that all they wanted was mind blowing sex. Especially when they had some emotional frustrations or stress that they needed to take their minds off of.

More often than not, Chelsea was the one who enacted their agreement for stress relief.

Being a blond head cheerleader who could actually string together logical sentences already made people brand her as some kind of unicorn. Despite her being a very heavy advocate for blondes being recognised as... people and not just bimbos for arm candy. That, mixed together with her parents' constant pressure for academic success made Chelsea a very frustrated individual. Lucky for Kayden though, she also happened to be quite flexible.

She opened the door after a few knocks, leaning against it with her eyebrows raised expectantly as soon as she saw his face.

"I heard what happened," she said lightly, looking more than a little amused.

"It's not that big of a deal," he huffed, crossing his arms childishly.

Chelsea just laughed "a new girl knocks out big bad Kayden on her first day? That's a pretty big deal."

He just glared at her, not dignifying that with a response, as she stepped aside to let him in.

"Seriously though," she started as they made their way towards her bedroom, "is your head alright?" There was finally some sympathy flowing into her tone, showing that she wasn't joking around anymore.

Kayden just nodded "yeah, I'm good." Surprisingly, he actually was, his nose was still a little sore but he didn't have a pounding headache anymore, which was a definite plus.

"Oh, great then," she said lightly before adding "because if you puke on me, what Jett did to you will be nothing in comparison to how I throttle you."

Kayden rolled his eyes "just close your door and tell me where you keep the protection. I forgot mine."

"So what's your plan?" Chelsea asked afterwards, making herself comfortable by shifting onto her side so she could face him. Her blue eyes examined the planes of his face with thinly failed curiosity.

"What are you talking about?" Kayden asked, unconvincingly, feigning innocence as he stared up at her ceiling.

"I know you, Kayd, you have an ego more fragile than fine china," she teased. " You wouldn't let something like this slip by."

He lost the façade and just turned to face her with a grin "let's just say that I'm going to make the new girls life a little... difficult."

Chelsea raised her eyebrows at the statement, not at all surprised, "whatever you say, Kayden."

Sorry no Jett this chapter! I also decided to split this one up because otherwise it'd be too long.

Ah Kayden and his fragile ego, don't you just love it? Despite not being your typical bad boy he still likes to think he has some kind of scary reputation—even though he really doesn't. I wonder what he's planning...

I have so much fun writing from his point of view, especially with this story; the more comedic vibe is a nice change from 'Cursed.' I also love Kayden's relationship with his mum and how he doesn't get embarrassed about how protective she is, he kind of just rolls with it. I hope you enjoy 'Jett' as much as I enjoy writing it.
