"Hello?" I said answering the phone while rubbing my eyes since I just woke up.
"Are you sleeping?" Jacob said over the phone.
"Hmm, I don't know, lemme check."
"Sheesh, you're so sarcastic in the mornings." He said chuckling.
"Mhm. I hope this is important because you woke me up and I don't like that."
"Oh- I uh- I'm sorry I'll talk to you later."
"No no no, to late. Tell me why you called, is something wrong? You don't sound like yourself..."
"I- Macy, um, are all the things the supporters are saying true? About last night?"
Oh no, he found out. Ugh. I bit my lip and sighed. "By last night you mean-"
He finished my sentence right away, "Marks broadcast."
"Yeah.." We both went completely silent. I didn't know what to say, should I say sorry? It wasn't my fault Mark did that though. Well, you know. I didn't say anything back other than the "I didn't" leave thing.
"Jacob, are you okay?"
"Do you like him Macy? Like like him?" He then whispered softly, "Do you like him more than me?"
"Jacob I- I gotta go." I hung up right away before he could say anything.
I can't choose between them. I love them both so much. If I chose Mark, Jacob would get terribly hurt. What if it ruins our friendship? I don't want that. And I can't choose Jacob because I really like Mark.
I still love Mark.
