(A/N: this one isn't about real life. I actually wrote it for a story I was writing at one point)

Your eyes of shimmering green
The way your lips intrigued me
Your ways that pulled me in
I knew I'd never win

From day one I've always done what you said
I've let you shape the person I am
I kept twisting around your finger
Every little thing pulled me deeper

I kept you deep inside my heart
And I kept the secret from you
The day that you found out
I know I needn't doubt

You pulled me in more
You kept me tight in your grip
You never let me go
And never once did I doubt how you loved me so

But then you left this world
You left me all alone
The one time you let me go
I doubted how you loved me so

The blood pouring from your head
The lover I loved was dead
Your endless love gone with a cost
And I knew that I had finally lost

A battle I'd fought for years
Finally had slipped away
I thought I'd won you over
Thought I'd picked you up like a clover

But you slipped from my fingers
I remember some of your last words
"Never give up," you said
Then shot a bullet through your head

Those words haunt me forever
Peering over my head
For I've alway listened to you
I've always done as you said

And now that you're gone
A feeling of loss hangs with me
I never wanted you dead
I never wanted to see that bullet through your head

I never wanted to go to your funeral
I never wanted to lose my best friend
But I'll keep going for you
I'll keep watching what you do

I'll keep my head up strong
I'll keep moving along
And I'll always remember you
And forever remember how you moved

How you danced in my head
How you listened to what I said
How you keep me going strong
How I always tagged along

And I'll always remember
How you loved me so
I'll never doubt that you do
And I hope I see you soon
