(A/N: This poem doesn't have a date on it, but it was around 4/15/13 as it was for the same best friend I was in love with as the last one)

You talk to me briefly
Your eyes catch me off guard
You smile slightly
My limbs become charred

I think once
I think twice
As to what I should say
No one has ever made me feel this way

Choosing my words carefully
I put together a sentence
You look at me thoughtfully
And then turn away

My face get red
What have I said
Then you turn back smiling
In that wonderful way

I relax in my seat
And I feel my heart skip a beat
As my adrenaline rushes
Making me want to stand to my feet

You talk to me briefly
Your eyes catch me off guard
You smile slightly
My limbs become charred
