One day she'll find all of these
Her name scattered all over
She'll realize how in love I am

She'll probably think I'm crazy
It didn't take me long to realize I wanted her
I pushed it off for so long

I kept telling myself I wouldn't fall in love
She's so horribly out of my league
And yet you'd never know

If you saw us interact
You'd think it was meant to be
Destined from the start

We just click
Just me and her
Thrive off our energies

Everyone knows she's special to me
It's horribly obvious how in love I am
I mean just look at me

Sitting here writing these letter
Writing these poems
Writing music

My creative is flowing
All in the hopes
That one day she'll see

She struggles to feel wanted
Loved and accepted
I will prove to her I want her

One day she'll find these
She'll take them all in
Who knows how she'll react

All I can hope is that she realizes I mean it
I'll fight for her
I'll do anything for her

She'll realize how absolutely madly in love I am
Gosh even when I tried to tell her
Tried to tell her the depth

She kept saying she loved me back
She does but my words had deeper meaning
It wasn't till I told her I only wanted her

I went on a date and the girl simply wasn't her
I admitted that to her
She finally understood

But still I think she lacks
The understanding of the depth
Of just how far and wide my love goes

And so by writing all these letters
These poems and tunes
I hope she'll one day see

If nothing else comes from it
She'll know what love looks like
What it feels like to be loved

I just want her to know
That if her next boyfriend isn't
As bat shit crazy in love

That she needs to keep looking
It's more than him craving her body
It's something much deeper

She needs a deep love
A true love
A listening love

A gentle love
A love that will cross any mountain
A love that is real

At the end of the day
The gay potion may not work
She may never be able to love me like that

But I know deep within my heart
That she's honest every time
She says if she could she'd pick me

My horribly unworthy self
She's deemed worthy of her
