Nothing I Haven't Felt

This is nothing I haven't felt before,

Simply a trigger behind a corridor

To be pulled behind walls and pillars,

Never known of the true killer.

Pain brought upon from the unknown,

Despair fallen into the light that wasn't shown

Loneliness eats away at my heart

And slowly, I fall apart

Tears fall and stream, tears fall,

And I scream.

It's nothing new to me, but it hurts more every time

A nickel is bigger but worth less, nothing to the dime

The true killer and culprit of the pain cause unto I

Isn't hard to figure out, they're there when I cry

The veins, the scars, the darkness afar

The cause of my pain is no question,

Of course others have helped and shot

But to myself, hiding and numbness I've taught

It is myself that brings the pain

Though nothing ever hurts the same.

It's nothing I haven't felt before,

But every time it's felt,

More and more pain is dealt.
