Not In Love

I'm not in love,

I've fallen above

Deep below the sea

But higher than anyone could see

Flying through the clouds

Screaming in pain aloud

I'm not in love, I've fallen

An angel upon in which I am calling

Wish to open the heart

To fall into the start

For a new to show themselves

To pull off of dusty old shelves

Bring down that of what is,

And come of what may

Only that to decay

And what destroys is this

A deadly kiss

Fallen in love, I miss

Though I am not in love, I desire

Just this once for a calm fire

One that isn't out of control, or deadly

One that if just warm enough; for that I am ready

To give my all to one is what I yearn

For a year or two, all about them is what I want to learn

But not one soul is ready to give back,

And for that, my heart has turned to black

I'm not in love,

Though I shove

Towards and forth a shining desire

If I find just that one beautiful soul,

I will never tire

My all is what I shall give

Their love is for what I shall live

Still for myself, as well

Just to keep their story to brag and tell

I am not in love, but soon to be

Either with myself, or someone else

And I will be completely free.
