Past Return

Re-entering dangerous territory,

I know what awaits

Familiar territory

It loves, it hates

Driving through the old

Taking new and turning cold

Terrified of what may return

I hide in what may he burn

The demon devil soul within

Releasing the blue from skin

Afraid to fall again, pitied loss

Into the deathly river, my heart I toss

For if I may ever come again

Death to myself will be then

If it ever returns to my chest

To kill the rest of myself, I will do my best

Familiar territory is dangerous territory

I do not want the past

So if it comes,

Myself will have to come last.
