Leen Xyriel DeverineI'm so tired. My body was still aching and I'm not in the mood to move. But dang, I have to attend school. I lazily stood up and do my thing.
After a while I heard my phone ringing and because my energy was at zero level I accepted it without looking who the caller was.
"Enxy!" Fudge! Agad kong inilayo ang cellphone sa tainga. I think my eardrums got damaged. Kay aga-aga kung mambulabog ang isang 'to. Where did she get the energy as early as this morning?
"Hey, lower your voice," I said nonchalantly.
"How can I? It's almost 8 and you're still not here, I've been waiting here like for forever," she said screaming. I almost drop my phone para kasing umaabot na ang laway niya rito.
"I'm on my way," I muttered.
"You're on your way? How many years would that take?" she retorted. She's really a nagger.
"10 minutes," I said flatly and pushed the end button.
It took me 15 minutes to reach school and there she was standing at the gate. Lumabas na ako ng kotse ko at lumapit sa kanya.
"Alam mo bang tinubuan na ako ng ugat sa kahihintay sa'yo?" pambungad niya sa akin.
"Next time,I'll asked the guard to water you," I responded.
She pouted but later on smiled.
"Tara na!" aya niya sabay pulupot ng mga kamay nito sa braso ko.
Hinatid ko muna siya sa room niya before going to mine.
Tsk, here goes the boring class again. Bakit ba ang tagal lumipas ng oras?
After a hundred times af yawning, natapos na ang klase and I went on the same place where I usually stay. I took the novel I'm reading out of my bag and opened it.
The woman's blood scattered around her body. A gun was in her left hand. A tiny wound on the neck and a crack on the window.
But who killed her? What is the motive behind this heinous crime?
"Enxy,(en-si)" My thoughts were disturbed by a loud voice coming my way. No need to tell who that was.
Lavender.
She started calling me with that nickname last week. She's persistent so I let her.
I flipped the pages of the novel I'm reading trying to find a clue. It was a story about the Ceo's wife who got killed.
I got a few suspects, her bestfriend, husband and mother-in-law.
"I heard na napaaway ka," she said gasping for air. "Are you ok? Is there something wrong with you? Are you hurt?" She examined my body as if I have been sent to a warfare. Seriously? Ngayon lang niya nalaman? Kahapon pa 'yon.
"I'm fine," I replied.
She sat beside me, nasa bench kasi ako na nasa likod lang ng Business Ad. Department.
"Are you sure?" I gave her a nod and she smiled again.
"Bakit ka ba kasi nakiki-alam sa business ni Hemming. Alam mo bang mainitin ang ulo no'n?" panenermon niya.
I closed the book I am reading since I could no longer concentrate because of this tiny woman beside me.
Well, she's not that dwarfish , she's just petite. She has long straight hair that reached the middle of her back. She had a fine angelic face, her eyes were big like dolls but with long thick eyelashes. Her nose was pointed and her lips were small. She had a fair complexion and a nice pair of legs.
