It's been what? Two months I guess since I transferred to this school . And for the last one month we have endured the childish game of those juvenile brats.
It was still toleratable so we just let them do what they want. After all Lavender said it was fine since we're giving happiness in exchange of our distress.
I'm here at my usual place waiting for Lavender. It's ten-fourthy five. Labas na niya mamaya-maya. I closed my eyes and relaxed a bit.
Moments later, I again checked the time.
Eleven? Ba't wala pa rin siya?
Tss, she never keeps me waiting. I'm not feeling good about this, but I decided to wait for another five minutes.
Time passed.
Still no Lavender.
I dialled her number but it couldn't be reached. Tumayo na ako at naglakad patungong classroom nito.
Habang naglalakad ay may nakasalubong akong babae.
"Looking for your friend?" she said approaching me.
"Hey, I meant no harm," ang sabi niya sabay taas ng dalawang kamay. I stared at her face, she doesn't look good---her face was a meanie. If there was a word as such.
"Just saw her going at the storage room," she added.
My instinct tells me that something bad was about to happen, that's why I immediately stride towards the area and quickly searched for Lavender.
The place was quite big.
"Lav?" I called out.
No response.
I again called her name, this time a little bit louder.
"Is that you Enxy?" The voice came from the left side.
"Yes," I replied and headed to where she was. There, I saw her standing and holding several books.
"Anong ginagawa mo rito?" tanong ko.
"A punishment? Ako ang tinuro ng klase e," she answered then smiled.
"Tulungan na kita," sabi ko at kinuha ang ilang libro sa mga kamay niya.
"Thanks."
She walked first and I followed her. The junks made me cringe, why not just threw all of these away?
Lavender's gaze was above the shelves, probably pondering where to put these books. What's the use? All of these stuffs are disarranged anyway.
"There." At last, she saw it.
I idly walked a few inch away from her. But a sudden movement woke my drowsy soul, she tripped.
But I wasn't ready as well, I couldn't keep my balance and the force bounced back making me hit the shelves behind.
I hugged her tight as the books quickly fell down at once.
