20. Unlucky

"D*mn that woman!" pambungad sa amin ng kakapasok pa lang na si Hemming. Sinipa nito ang upuang nakaharang sa kanyang dinadaanan. Kasunod nito ang kakamot-kamot sa ulo na si Archie.

"Anything wrong?" I asked but he remained silent.

"She's untouchable men! A monster!tsk," sabi naman ni Archie na ngayon ay nakasalampak na sa upuan. They didn't even bother answering my question.

"Who?" Denim asked as he pulled his seat closer to us. Nasa isang coffee booth kami ngayon.

"Xyriel," mabilis na sagot nito. I gave him a puzzled look so he narrated the whole story.

Archie was trying to find Hemming. Hinanap niya na ito sa field, sa corridor at sa iba pang parte ng school na  lagi niyang tinatambayan.

As he was about to give up he heard a very familiar voice."That's no way to treat a lady."
He decided to follow it and there he saw Hemming at  Xyriel na magkausap. He quickly went near them at nakita niyang napaharap sa kanya si Xyriel.

Just as the latter was about to turn her gaze to Hemming, a punch is already coming her way.
But what happened next suprised him.

"That was a strong punch. Unfortunately, a wrong target," sabi ng lalaking sumalag sa kamao ni Hemming. He harshly let go of the latter's hand. Kaya naman, Archie hurriedly went to Hemming's side.

"Dude, nice timing."  Another guy appeared together with 3 more. Hindi sila pamilyar sa kanya but according to their uniform, they came from different schools. Nakangite ang mga ito but their eyes speaks warning.

But one man caught his attention, the one who blocked  Hemming's punch. He came from Draconian University ayon na rin sa damit na suot nito.

"I guess I don't have to ask about the OTHERS, Flame huh?" Xyriel said smirking. She was pertaining to the man who just have saved her from the punch.

"What? Nagpakita ka sa kanya  Flame? Are you crazy?" sabi ng isa, he was with a guy who looked exactly like him.

"We're even, I just have help you," sagot naman ng Flame daw.

"Tsk, stupid," a man with a poker face said.

"Always," dagdag naman ng isang nakasimangot.

"Will you cut this sh*ts! Who are you *ssholes?"galit na sigaw ni Hemming.

The five, except Xyriel slowly turned their gaze  sa kanila.

"We almost forgot about you, I think it's rightful to repay his actions," sabi ng lalaking tinatawag nilang Flame. The 4 nodded in response but Xyriel just clicked her tongue.

"Leave them alone. They are too weak. You don't want to waste your energy with those bastards," she said nonchalantly.

"Let's go," sabi pa niya at tumalikod na. Susunod na sana dapat ang lima kaso, sa inis ni Hemming dahil sa pang-iinsulto nito, he threw a punch again.But the hit failed and it was caught by Flame's hands, kasabay noon ang pagtaas ng kabilang kamay ni Hemming upang sundan ang suntok but he couldn't move any more.

In a second, the twins was already holding his both hands and Archie was about to step forward when the two others block his way giving him a cold stare.

"If I were you, I wouldn't do that," said the man with an emotionless face.

"Fiesty," Flame said as he moved closer to Hemming, he was looking at him intently.
