"Lex, punta ka na kasi," I said as crawled closer to her. Nasa higaan niya kami ngayon at itong babae na 'to, tulog pa rin.

Kanina pa ako nag-aantay magising siya. I know I'm trespassing but hey, I'm still her husband.

Pinilit kong kuhain ang kumot na nakatabon sa mukha niya. But she moved instead patalikod sa'kin.

I tried poking her face kahit hindi ko ito nakikita.

"Lex, Come on! I made you some breakfast," sabi ko pa. Sayang naman effort ko at mapapanis na ang toasted bread with butter and chocolate milk na nasa side table niya sa tagal niyang magising.

Ungol lang ang sagot niya na tila iritang-irita.

"Haist, tulog mantika," I said. Pwenisto ko na lang ang sarili ilang pulgada malayo sa kanya at saka tinitigan ang kisame.

Wala e. Tulog na tulog.

Maya- maya pa'y napapikit but I still felt the lady beside me moved. Naramdaman ko rin ang pagpatong ng isang paa niya sa bente ko.

I let her be.

A little while,I feel something hot below my neck.

Minulat ko ang mga mata ko and found her face a few inches from my neck.

The sensation was different and I found myself staring at her.

She wasn't satisfied with her position so she repositioned his hands that are lying on top of her to my waist part.

I have to admit, I'm beginning to get comfortable with this situation.

Walang malisya.

I spent minutes just staring at her, I wasn't even moving in fear of waking her up.

Maganda lang talaga siyang titigan. She doesn't look cold when she sleeps, probably because her eyes weren't open. And no dark orbs can be seen.

A moment later, the hug tightened pulling me even closer to her face.

Oh fvck! Now this is uncomfortable!

"Gian," she whispered in her sleep.

Gian? Who the hell is Gian. Her ex?

Wala naman akong natatandaan na ex niyang gano'n ang pangalan. Sabagay, magaling siyang magtago. Malay ko ba kung nobyo niya nga iyon dati.

She moved again and begun to whisper things. Mga bagay na di ko alam like come back Gian, don't get in the car, Liera I'm sorry and many others.

"Lex," I wispered on her ears. She was beginning to sweat while hugging me really tight. She's having a nightmare that's when I decided to shake her.

"Wake up!" I said as I moved her face. Dahan dahan naman siyang napamulat, revealing to me her empty eyes. She took a deep breath and the emptiness within her turned duller than usual. Seems like, she was remembering something really painful.

She closed her eyes and tucked her face even closer to my neck. She's breathing heavier till about an hour, it came back to normal.

Nakayakap pa rin ako sa kanya. It was the only thing I can do to comfort her.

"Are you okey?" I asked in a low tone. She gently popped her head out and smiled.

"Yeah, thanks," sagot niya saka kinuha ang mga brasong nakayakap sa akin. Ngbigay siya ng maliit na distansya saka ako tinitigan ng mabuti.
