My mind says stand up but my body won't coordinate. I want to rest, maybe a whole day of sleep will do. How about skipping class?
What day is it? Uh, shoot! It's thursday.
I immediately grab the clock beside me. The heck? It's already nine and my class starts at nine-thirty.
Tsk, I need to fix myself now but why am I still lying in bed? The scolding wasn't enough.
Finally, gathering myself all together, I bolted out of the bed and arranged myself.
Oh no! You are such an idiot, Lex. Seriously huh? Got the guts to be late in your class with Nicholas The Great as your teacher?
Seems that my mind was delighting itself in rebuking me.
Well, it got a point. That know-it-all teacher enjoys putting his late students in shame.
I glanced on my wrist watch.
Nine thirty and I've just arrived. Congratulations Lex, you deserve an award 'THE LAZIEST PERSON ON EARTH'
I have to think of a better way. Ah yeah, I remembered something. That will do.
Nice.
Fortunately, it was.
I'm also lucky that my seat was situated beside that window and Liam wasn't my seatmate.
Mr. Diether Nicholas teaches Social Science 2 in room 75Z and he was my first subject this morning.
1 and ...
3!
I jumped and my hands grasp the frame of the window.
I then quietly climbed inside. Tyempo at nakatalikod si Tandang Nicholas.
A man sitting beside me noticed my presence and my little stunt so I gave him a glare making him instantly shift his gaze infront.
"So Family Planning is important because..." sabi ng teacher namin habang nagsusulat sa board and as soon as he faced us, his eyes immediately spotted me.
"Why are you there? Kanina lang wala ka pa diyan," he inquired with his temple creased---just like a bull dog. But maybe, the dog was cuter than him.
"I'm here already, since you started lecturing, ask him." At tinuro ko 'yong lalaking nasa gilid.
He nodded as a response.
Good.
"But I never see you went in," Jaime interupted.
"As if your looking at the door all the time, where would I come in? " I retorted.
She rolled her eyes and gave me a deadly glare.
