I don't have any intention of waking up early today, and yet  something vibrating  underneath my pillow disturbed me from my peaceful sleep. Tsk, nakaka-asar. With eyes still closed, I searched for my phone. As soon as I take hold of it, I lazily opened my eyes.

Hey bro. Let's meet at the 1st gate ,7 :00 sharp

Huh? Bakit kaya?

Napabangon ako bigla at muling binasa ang mensahe.

"Bakit Liam?"

Napatingin ako sa nagsalita. Si Archie. Naka-upo ito sa may couch at umiinom na ng kape. He was already on his uniform, maaga siyang nagising kahit late na kami nakatulog kagabi. Dad made me do some papers that's why we ended up sleeping here at the dormitory and Archie accompanied me because the three can't make it here due to some problems.

"Hemming texted," I told him.

"Anong sabi?" tanong niya.

"Meet up at the gate at 7:00," sagot ko naman. Tumayo na rin ako at nagtungo sa bathroom.

After an hour, I'm ready to go.

"Sa caf na lang tayo kakain?" tanong ni Archie habang ina-ayos ang necktie ng uniform. Nakaharap ito sa salamin while I'm on the couch resting my back.

"Oo,it is still early," I replied.

"Bakit kaya niya tayo pinapapunta?"  he said again. I'm not sure if that question was for me or for his reflection on the mirror. He looks like he was talking to himself.

"Maybe he got plans?" I responded,disregarding the nonsensical questions on my mind.

Tapos na siyang mag-ayos ng buhok kaya nagpabango naman siya, then checked his shoes and did several pose on the mirror.

Uh?

"May nililigawan ka ba?" He seems to be so much aware with his posture today. Baka may nagugustuhan na siya bukod sa pagkain, if that happens, Hemming would surely throw a party.

"Pag nag-aayus may nililigawan agad?" balik tanong niya. His right brow lifted up, para bang may mali sa sinabi ko. Archie is not the type of man who likes relationship, pero hindi rin naman siya sarado sa mga ganitong bagay. Not until it happened. Maybe he's too scared to try again or worst, he hasn't move on yet.

"Nevermind," sabi ko na lang para hindi na humaba ang usapan. Yet, alam kong may idea na siya kung ano ang iniisip ko.

"It's ok Liam,tara na," he said with a smile at nauna nang lumabas sa pinto. Tsk, I swear this will be the last time I'll mention something about courting. Tumayo na ako at tsaka hinabol si Archie na medyo nakalalayo na.

The two of us headed to the first gate, and while we're walking, I glanced at the watch on my wrist.

A minute before seven.

Halos magkasabay lang ang bawat hakbang namin ni Archie at nang ilang hakbang nalang makakalabas na kami ng corridor,I feel something touch the lower part of my legs.

And before I could react, A slimy liquid showered the both of us.

"Ay p*tang balyena na may pitong anak!" rinig kong sigaw ni Archie.
