Days Of Future's Past

In the future, human and Faunus alike are put into death prison camps. As for the Grimm, they were put into cages where they would be endlessly tortured to a point that they might face extinction. Guarded by the very creations that a robotic scientist named Doctor Bolivar Trask invented to hunt down rogue Faunus such as the White Fang. Eventually Trask's computer program Master Mold began to see that all semblance and non-semblance beings, either human or Faunus, were threats for a peaceful world. It finished building an army of Sentinels and sent them off to assault the arena which was holding the Vytal Festival. Not even the experienced survived. When Trask heard about the destruction his creations made, he was shocked. This wasn't what Trask intended to do. It wasn't long until Trask was killed. Very few survived the attack. Wolverine, John Wraith and Raven Darkholme's newborn son, Kurt, Ruby Rose, Storm, and even Glynda Goodwitch. Unbeknownst to everyone, Cinder Fall, Emerald Sustrai, and Mercury Black also survived, but was captured and experimented on. Finally, the Sentinels decided to make the three their unwilling warriors. Cinder Fall became Mistress Sinister, Emerald Sustrai became Vertigo, and Mercury Black became Arclight. They couldn't resist the programming surgically implanted into their brains. The three aligned themselves with the Sentinels and joined in their conquest. As the years go on, one question remains: is there still hope for change?

Wolverine growled as he took cover from Mistress Sinister's blasts. He had already scratched off Vertigo and Arclight on his list. Now only Mistress Sinister was left. "Those who resist the Sentinel's rule are punished by death," said Mistress Sinister robotically. Logan sneered, "Good luck with that, sister." He unsheathed his claws as he lunged at her. Logan forced Mistress Sinister to the ground as he decapitated the servant of the Sentinels. "Sorry you had to go through what the Sentinels put ya through," apologized Logan. "Hopefully you and your two friends find peace." He then left and began to explore the forsaken world. Destroyed buildings, pieces of Sentinels thanks to the ones that fought back, and decayed corpses. Logan stopped as he sniffed the air and turned to see Ruby Rose, Ororo Munroe, Nightcrawler, and Glynda Goodwitch.

"You're a hard man to find, Mister Howlett," said Glynda. Logan replied, "Finished my list, but I guess this isn't a social meet." Ruby nodded as Ororo explained, "We need you. We found it." Logan widened his eyes as he asked, "For real, you've found it?" Nightcrawler answered, "Yes, the Chrono-Cerebro." Logan remembered, "The only device that can travel in time. I thought that was impossible." Ruby said sadly, "Xavier and Forge died finishing it and moving away from the Sentinels." Logan nodded as he asked, "What does this have to with me?"

The group went to their main base hidden away from the Sentinels. That is until they find them. Glynda led them to the Chrono-Cerebro itself as she announced, "The device can send a person's consciousness throughout time. Unfortunately it breaks down mental nerves to an ordinary person, but with your regeneration at a cellular level Logan, you can take damage from it as you find the Sentinel Island back in time and destroy before the Sentinels go to the Vytal Festival and start this armageddon all over again." Logan asked, "Can you give me time for the others before I go?" Glynda nodded as Logan went to Ruby Rose. She hugged him as she asked, "Will you stay the same way you were always to me when we were younger?" Logan answered, "I always will." Ruby hugged harder as they walked down. Logan and Ruby found Nightcrawler sitting on a corner with his hands intertwined and eyes closed as he prayed, "Hagel Maria, voller Gnade. Unser Herr ist mit dir. Gesegnet bist du unter Frauen, Und gesegnet ist die Frucht deines Leibes, Jesus. Heilige Maria, Mutter Gottes, Bete für uns Sünder, Jetzt und in der stunde unseres todes Amen." Logan smiled, "Hey, Kurt." Nightcrawler looked up to see them as he greeted, "Hallo, Pate. I know I have asked you this, but in the past did you ever know my mother and father?" Logan nodded, "Yeah. They were my friends." Ororo came up to Logan and hugged him as she said, "Good luck." Glynda announced, "Logan, it's time." Logan has never heard Glynda call him his preferred name but it didn't matter now.

Logan got on the chair as a device was put onto his head. Logan inhaled and exhaled as he asked, "Is this going to hurt?" Glynda nodded, "Yes. But try to think peaceful thoughts." Logan looked at Ruby, Ororo, and Nightcrawler and gave them the thumbs up. Then suddenly Logan's mind felt like a huge needle stuck through his head as his consciousness traveled throughout time.
