RWBY: Logan

Creed's Call

Logan got into his normal attire for once in a few days. He was starting to miss his brown and yellow leather jacket. He sat down next to his girlfriend Yang Xiao Long and she sat down next to her team. Currently they were watching their friend Penny Polendina and her teammate Ciel Soleil fight against two of Team CRDL's boys Russel Thrush and Sky Lark. Logan smiled with amusement as he watched the battle.

Russel and Sky ran for cover behind two separate boulders. Unfortunately that was their undoing. Penny then throws swords at the boulders and they got embedded into the boulders. Ciel taps her watch meaningfully as Penny used her strings attached to her swords to lift the two boulders the two boys were hiding behind. They got lifted high in the air and then Penny slammed them down. Oobleck announced, "And victory goes to Penny and Ciel of Atlas!" Being sportsman like, Penny said, "Thank you for a wonderful time." The two left as Russel reached out but got hit in the head by a stone.

Logan smiled as he walked down to see Ruby and Penny talk while Ciel stood away from a distance. Then Logan's scroll started to ring as he took it out and the scroll said, "Unknown Number." Logan narrowed his eyes as he tapped on the screen, held it to his ear, and asked, "Hello?" Then an all too familiar voice answered, "Hey, runt." Logan was surprised. It was his half brother Victor Creed, alias Sabretooth. "Victor..." snarled Logan. Victor chuckled, "It's been a while, hasn't it?" Logan clenched his teeth as he remembered the last time he and Victor saw eye to eye.

Logan, Weiss, and Blake went to the next car only to meet up with Victor Creed. "Hey, Jimmy," snickered Victor. "What kept you?" Logan ordered, "Weiss, Blake, you two continue on without me." Weiss protested, "But.." Logan barked, "Do as I say! This is my fight!" The two girls nodded as they went to the next car. Victor smirked, "Oh, Jimmy. My little brother. You know that I'm gonna kill them all later, right?" Logan stated, "You'll have to go through me first." The two growled at each other and then ran toward each other.

Victor Creed looks at Logan's glaring eyes as he chuckled, "It feels good, doesn't it? All that rage. And do you know why I keep pissing you off?" Logan gritted his teeth as Victor explained, "Because at heart, I'm exactly what you are, an animal." Logan glared even more at Victor who offered, "Do it. Finish it." Logan growled as he began to consider it.

Logan finally calmed down as he retracted his claws much to Victor's surprise. Logan roared as he punched Victor so hard he got knocked out. Logan pulled out his claws of Victor and retracted them, too.

Victor asked, "The thought never occurred to me, Jimmy. Why didn't you kill me, the real reason?" Logan huffed as he answered, "As much as I hate to admit it, we're brothers!" Victor chuckled, "Yeah we are!" Logan replied, "Don't think that changes anything between us. We're done." Victor shook his head as he retorted, "We can never be done Jimmy. We're brothers, and brothers stick together, and while you try and hide it, we're both animals!" Logan snapped, "I am nothing like you! So get used to it." Victor raised his eyebrows as he chuckled, "You know what, pal? I'm always gonna be around to remind you exactly what you are."

Logan growled, "What do you want?" Victor sounded disappointed as he asked, "What? Can't I say hi to my super busy younger brother who just became an X-Man? That makes you as special as the Avengers. Nice." Logan glared, "We both know that ain't the case of why you called." Victor chuckled, "You know me so well, Jimmy. I wanted to tell you that one day soon, I will look forward to breaking you so much it'll turn you into the runt you've always have been." Taking no more, Logan hung up on Victor.

Victor Creed looked at his scroll as it read, "Call Ended." Victor smirked, "Touched a nerve, didn't I?" Then he snickered evilly.

Logan walked off in a bad mood as he was stopped by his best friend John Wraith. "What's wrong, man?" asked John concerned. Logan answered flatly, "Victor called me." John was surprised as he asked, "Are you sure?" Logan nodded, "I'd know his voice anywhere." John thought about it as he asked, "Why would he be calling after all this time?" Logan replied, "Because I'm the best there is of what I do. The way I do it isn't very nice." John nodded, "Right. So I'm guessing he's challenging you." Logan shook his head as he said, "Maybe. Said that he can't wait to break me." John predicted, "If he's playing that game with you, I think it would be best to keep an eye on your closest ones. And watch your back." Logan nodded, "Okay, bub." John nodded as he teleported away.
