The Night The Heroes Fell Part 2

Logan got dressed into his Wolverine costume as he joined up with all of the X-Men. Even the Avengers were here at the meeting. "What is this all about?" asked Wolverine. Captain America then announced, "Avengers, X-Men, Professor Xavier wishes for everyone to hear what he has been sensing lately." Xavier strolled up for everyone to see as he announced, "I have dreadful news. When I was in Cerebro, I sensed that there are super villains roaming around in populated towns. Vista Verde, Hammer Falls, and even here at Vale. I myself do not know the reason behind this, but I think that something horrible is going to happen. The super villains can strike at whatever they want and as Captain America and I have agreed, we cannot allow this." Iron Man said, "We have agreed to split into teams in each town to find and stop whatever the villains are planning. JARVIS, show everyone the teams." The team stationed at Hammer Falls were Thor Odinson and the Maximoff twins Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch. The team stationed at Vista Verde were Black Panther, Black Widow, Ant-Man, Wasp, Iron Man, Storm, Rogue, Psylocke, Colossus, and surprisingly Gambit. Gambit himself came over to Wolverine and said, "Anything I can do to help my friend." The team stationed at Vale were Captain America, Wolverine, John Wraith, Ms. Marvel, and Hawkeye. Iron Man said, "Everyone stationed at Hammer Falls and Vista Verde will be taking flights there. I know this sudden, even for me. But we all must stop the super villains from threatening these towns and their people. Avengers and X-Men, assemble!"

Wolverine watched as the airships took flight in the skies. John Wraith walked over to Wolverine and asked, "Something wrong?" Wolverine replied, "Just when things got bad with my girlfriend and my friends in Team RWBY, things just got worse. Can't help but feel that the Victor Creed and the White Fang would want a piece of the action with the super villain uprising." John assured, "Don't worry. When things get bad, I'll always have your back." Wolverine smiled, "Thanks, Wraith." Wolverine sighed as he hoped that John is right. "Truthfully," admitted Wolverine. "I wouldn't ask for a better friend." John teased, "I bet you're just saying that." Wolverine chuckled, "Seriously. Is being Kurt's godfather still up for grabs?" John shrugged, "Maybe. Then again are you going to tell Kurt about all the good stuff about me?" Wolverine nodded, "Promise." John muttered, "If there is no one else, maybe I should go for Wade instead." Wolverine retorted, "No goddamn way." John agreed, "Yeah, you're right. I wouldn't trust Wilson with Kurt even if he begged me." Wolverine smirked, "So?" John looked at him after some thought before finally agreeing, "Sure, Logan. I hereby allow you to be my son, Kurt Wagner Wraith's godfather." Wolverine smirked, "You didn't need to go that exaggerated to make me Kurt's godfather." John frowned, "Don't ruin the moment. I'll call up Raven to tell the law guys to do just that." Wolverine chuckled at that but suddenly frowned as he looked over to the sky.

"I will look forward to breaking you so much it'll turn you into the runt you've always have been."

The man gave him a smirk as he commented, "My, Victor was right about you. You are quite the runt." The man was about as tall as an Ursa, had a ponytail, old fashioned clothing, claws like Victor's, and three scars across his face. Wolverine demanded, "Who the fuck are you?! And how do you know Victor?" The man frowned, "Victor never told you about me? Shame. Well, I am you and Victor's eldest brother, Dog Logan."

Wolverine was shaken out of his musings when John asked, "Something on your mind, man?" Wolverine replied, "I've always known that Victor Creed was my older brother. But suddenly out of the blue there comes a huge man who says he is my eldest brother. Hell, even older than Victor. Said his name was Dog Logan." John asked, "Okay, so that makes you feel out of place somehow?" Wolverine shrugged, "Even since I got that call from Creed, I can't help but feel what's happening isn't coincidence. Something bad is gonna happen and I'm not sure if I can claw my way through it." John said, "Hey, I've been your friend since we both ended up on the wrong path. At the White Fang, y'know? What I've learned about you all this time, Logan, is that you never quit even when things bite you in the ass. All of that, inspired a lot of people. Sure, there's always going to be another comic book about you, but in those panels don't even compare to all the good things you've done. You go out there, look at danger in the eye, and say, 'I'll never quit while I'm still standing on my feet.' I'm proud to be the Wolverine's best friend. I'm proud to be your best friend." He held out a fist as Wolverine held out his own and they fist bumped. "How about we go out to the Colosseum and check out the next fight, huh?" suggested John.

Wolverine and John Wraith went to the Amity Colosseum and took their seats. John nudged Wolverine and said, "I hope your girl is doing okay." Wolverine nodded, "I hope so, too." Then he smelled something. "That's weird," muttered Wolverine, turning his head to see Ruby Rose taking a door labeled with a yellow maintenance sign. Wolverine and John followed her as they stopped to see Mercury Black walking at the hallway. John asked, "Wasn't he the guy that got his leg broken and supposed to be recovering at his village?" Wolverine nodded, "Yeah, so why the fuck is he here?" Wolverine and John's musings were interrupted when Port announced, "It looks like our first contender is... Penny Polendina from Atlas..." Then the randomizer stopped at... And her opponent will be... Pyrrha Nikos from Beacon!" concluded Port. Mercury smirked, "Ooh, polarity versus metal. That could be bad." Then Victor Creed walked in, too as he gave them a toothy smirk. Wolverine snikted his claws as John put on his brass knuckles. Ruby remembered she didn't bring her Crescent Rose with her as Mercury went into a simple fighting pose.
