RWBY: Logan

The Marauders

Victor Creed and Cinder Fall saw a van with two women and a hulking male. The first woman had short red violet hair and wore a tight blue violet suit on. The second woman had long light green hair and wore a tight green suit on. The hulking man was bald and had only brown jeans on. "Sinister wants the DNA shipped to the Essex Corps. right now," said the first woman. The second woman nodded, "Yes, Arclight." Arclight turned to the man and ordered, "Blockbuster, stand guard. Sinister says these DNA samples are of the upmost importance." Blockbuster nodded as he took guard. Arclight and the other woman began packing the van. Blockbuster spotted Cinder and Victor walking toward them and said, "Arclight, two are coming our way." Arclight looked at Cinder and Victor and ordered, "Then quit gawking and start flattening them!" Blockbuster charged at them as Victor and Cinder scattered away from his path. Arclight looked at the second woman and ordered, "Vertigo, drive away! We'll catch up with you at the company after after we are done with these posers!" Vertigo nodded as she started to drive off. Cinder frowned, "Exactly what are you going to do?" Arclight glared, "You think you're the only one with power?!" Arclight's fists glowed as she slammed her fists down creating a shockwave. Cinder went flying on the ground as she grunted and tried to stand up. Arclight's energy shockwave clearly sent her into a daze. Cinder had realized that she had clearly underestimated whoever the Marauders were. She got out of her daze as Cinder Fall jumped up and fired her arrows.

A man in the shadows was watching this ordeal on surveillance cameras as he frowned. He narrowed his eyes as he stroked his chin as he watched Blockbuster fight against Sabretooth. "I need the genetic material for the project," muttered the man. "Or a lifetime of work will be wasted." He then pressed a button as he waited for one of his subordinates' voices.

Arclight heard her com in her ear ask, "What is going on?" Arclight replied as she dodged another arrow, "Two witnesses saw what we were doing! Vertigo is driving the genetic material to you now." The man replied, "She had better make it to me. Draw back from the attack and catch up with the van." Arclight nodded as she slammed her fist to make another shockwave while Blockbuster threw Victor off of him. "New orders from the boss!" instructed Arclight. "Retreat and get to the van!" Blockbuster nodded as picked up a car and threw it at Victor and Cinder. They dodged away from the car as Arclight and Blockbuster bolted away. Victor Creed snarled and began running in all fours after them. The two saw the van as they latched onto the roof and their feet pressed on the back bumper. Vertigo slammed on the gas pedal but Victor was gaining on them. Arclight got an idea as she ordered, "Blockbuster, open the door!" Blockbuster opened the door as Arclight got inside pass the DNA samples and said to Vertigo, "I'll drive, you take care of Long Nails!" Vertigo nodded as she let go of the steering wheel as Arclight pushed herself into the driver's seat and Vertigo pushed herself through the window pass the DNA samples and saw Victor pursuing them. Vertigo smirked as she held out her hand and released green waves at Victor. Victor then started to feel dizzy and disorientated. He immediately stopped as he suddenly collapsed on the street. Cinder ran to Victor as she checked on him. Her tattoos then glowed as she turned to glare at the escaping van. She threw a fireball at one of the tires making the van flip over to its side and wrecking it.

The man in the shadows slammed his fist as he yelled, "Blast it! The genetic material is sure to be destroyed!" Arclight then called, "The genetic stuff is destroyed, boss." The man frowned until he sees Cinder Fall and Victor Creed. He then smirked, "Arclight, listen to me now."

Cinder and Victor walked over to the Marauders. Vertigo and Blockbuster were knocked out cold, but Arclight seemed to wake up as she got up and swung her fist. Her fist got caught by Victor's clawed hand as he snarled at her. Arclight tried to pull away from Victor's vice like grip. Cinder asked, "Where can I find the one that gives you your orders?" Arclight frowned, "At the Essex Corporation, duh. If you want to see him so badly, here's an address to the company on one of the business cards." Victor threw her on the ground as she was knocked out cold. Cinder found an Essex Corp. card as she read the address and smirked, "Care to go on a field trip?"
