The Night The Heroes Fell Part 3

Wolverine and John Wraith fought against Victor Creed as their fight continued into a room. Wolverine and Victor struggled with each other while holding each other's clawed hands. "Where did you get the new look, Victor?" asked Wolverine. Victor replied, "Someone who made us what are, and your death as well. And you know what, runt? I never really liked the name Victor. I prefer Sabretooth!" Suddenly, Sabretooth threw Wolverine out of the room as he crashed on the wall. Wolverine got unconscious as Sabretooth turned to John. Sabretooth smirked, "Are you my brother's new babysitter, John?" John replied, "I ain't Chris Bradley, Victor. And your creepy new look doesn't scare me." Sabretooth looked disappointed as he said, "Really? I hope it works on Dukes when I find him." John got angry as he punched him in the face and teleported to the side. "Now you made me mad, and I'm gonna kill you before Logan gets the chance," declared John. He kept teleporting and striking at Sabretooth with everything he got. After taking a couple hits, Sabretooth faced John as he held up his brass knuckles. "You wanna know something, John?" asked Sabretooth. John then did a few hits as he teleported until Sabretooth suddenly grabbed his spine at mid-teleportation. John gasped as he felt Sabretooth's hand grasping into his spine. "You're predictable," taunted Sabretooth. John tried to teleport away but Sabretooth had a death grip on his spine. "I can feel your spine, Johnny-Boy," taunted Sabretooth. "Never knew you had one." He then crushed John's spine and pulled it out. Wolverine got back up as he stared in horror of John Wraith dead. "No...." muttered Wolverine. His half brother killed his best friend. Sabretooth stepped over the dead John as he asked, "What was it that you liked about, little brother? Oh, yeah. His humanity. We ain't human so why live among them?" Wolverine gritted, "Because they all showed me it's better than hunting down and killing anybody I was pointed at." Sabretooth glared, "Who was the one that found us a home? Who was the only one who protected you while growing up? Who was the one who taught you how to fight? Who was the one that came to me when mommy and daddy were killed that night?!"

Victor noticed how upset James was. He gently gripped on James's shoulder as he reassured, "Hey, what those humans did, they took it from others. We will one day make them pay for what they did. For now, we're brothers and we're going to stick together. Got that?"

Wolverine countered, "I'm sorry, but who was the one who gave me a life of murder? Who was the one who let me become a guinea pig of Weapon X? Who was the one who that made my life miserable?!" Sabretooth yelled, "You pulled yourself out of it like I did! All you needed was some persuasion to do it!" Wolverine started to glow red as he growled, "I gonna rip your goddamn head off..." Then he notices Ruby running and she grabbed him. Sabretooth yelled after them, "This isn't over, Wolverine! I will break you!"

Ruby and Wolverine finally stopped as they saw destroyed remains of Penny Polendina. "Oh my God..." gaped Wolverine in horror. He already knew Penny was a robot, but she had more humanity than anyone Wolverine has ever known in his life. Ruby cried, "Penny..." Suddenly a woman's voice was heard as she spoke, "This is not a tragedy. This was not an accident. This is what happens when you hand over your trust, your safety, your children, to men who claim to be our guardians, but are, in reality, nothing more than men. Our Academies' Headmasters wield more power than most armies, and one was audacious enough to control both."

At Hammer Falls Thor, Scarlet Witch, and Quicksilver fight against Magneto and Absorbing Man.

The woman continued, "They cling to this power in the name of peace, and yet, what do we have here? One nation's attempt at a synthetic army, mercilessly torn apart by another's star pupil. What need would Atlas have for a soldier disguised as an innocent little girl? I don't think the Grimm can tell the difference."

At Vista Verde, Black Panther and Black Widow were facing against Crossbones and Gargoyle. Ant-Man and Wasp were battling Loki, Vertigo, and Pyro. Iron Man fought against M.O.D.O.K., Blockbuster, and Avalanche. Storm, Rogue, Psylocke, Colossus and Gambit were fighting Juggernaut, Multiple Man, Kawoon, and Mister Sinister.

"Perhaps Ozpin felt as though defeating Atlas in the Tournament would help people forget his colossal failure to protect Vale when the Grimm invaded its streets. Or perhaps this was his message to the tyrannical dictator that has occupied an unsuspecting kingdom with armed forces. Honestly, I haven't the slightest clue as to who is right and who is wrong. But I know the existence of peace is fragile, and the leaders of our kingdoms conduct their business with iron gloves."

Red Skull, Ogress, and Arclight led their HYDRA army toward Beacon Academy as they met up with Captain America, Ms. Marvel, and Hawkeye. "Attack!" commanded Red Skull.

"As someone who hails from Mistral, I can assure you the situation there is... equally undesirable. Our Kingdoms are on the brink of war, yet we, the citizens, are left in the dark. So I ask you: When the first shots are fired... who do you think you can trust?"

Wolverine looked at his scroll as he saw both an alert for Grimm Attack and Super Villain Attack. "Damn," muttered Wolverine. Then alarm blared as an automated voice said, "Alert. Incoming Grimm attack. Threat level: Nine. Please seek shelter in a calm and orderly manner." Wolverine cursed, "Fuck! FUCK!" He sniffed the air and instantly recognized the scent of Grimm. Wolverine grabbed on Ruby's shoulder and ordered, "We have to go, Ruby. Now!" Ruby was still trapped in her tears as Wolverine unmasked himself and hugged. "I'm sorry," apologized Logan. "But we have to go. Staying here isn't gonna help anything. C'mon." Ruby nodded as she and Wolverine began running.
