Logan agrees to go back in time to the past and save the future. But when evil arises, Logan questions his willingness to fight and maintaining his relationships with his friends.

The next morning, Logan and Jennifer met with her friend. Jennifer's friend was a woman with a skintight black jumpsuit with golden jewelry and a dark red black widow's hourglass. She had fair skin, red hair, and green eyes. Jennifer introduced, "Logan, this is my friend, Natalia Romanova, agent of Atlas. Natalia, this is Logan. He's willing to do a job for you." Logan added, "As long as there's going to be no fighting, Ms. Romanova, I'll do it." Natalia assured, "Don't worry, коллега. I'm fully aware that you are a pacifist. What I have in mind is completely different." Natalia led Logan and Jennifer to her van and opened the trunk. Logan looked inside to see a couple of packages. Natalia explained, "The Atlas Air Fleet has been so busy we had to resort to delivery on road. Logan, since you are known for your ability to recover from anything, Atlas is asking for you to deliver these goods to certain specific locations. Is this understood?" Logan nodded, "Crystal." Jennifer said to Logan, "You can borrow my old Jeep. It's got good gas mileage and the tank's already full. If you need to refill, I provided you with gas cans in the back seat." Logan nodded as Jennifer handed him lien and added, "This is just enough money to buy you food for the next few days. Don't spend too much, and my Jeep better come back without a scratch, okay?" Logan replied, "Promise." Natalia and Logan worked together to put the packages into the Jeep. Doreen went outside wearing her tea time clothes. "You promise you would join me and Mommy at tea time," said Doreen cutely. Logan walked over to her and kneeled down as he gently held her shoulders. "Hey, I'll come back just in time for tea," promised Logan. "You just take care of your mommy and promise me you'll behave." Doreen nodded, "I promise." She then hugged Logan as he said, "I love you, baby girl." Doreen said with tears, "I love you, too, Mister Logan." Doreen let go and went to Jennifer's side. Logan got up and walked to the Jeep's driver seat. He climbed inside and started the engine. Natalia walked over to the driver's side and said, "If anything, it was an honor meeting the Wolverine." Aggravated, Logan retorted, "As I told people time and time again, I ain't that guy no more." He drove away before Natalia could say anything. Natalia put her hands on her hips as she asked, "How long has he been like that?" Jennifer sighed as she answered, "Six months."
It soon turned dark as Logan stopped the Jeep. He got out as he grabbed his map that came with his packet. "All right, my first stop is Hammer Falls," murmured Logan to himself. "So I should head at least east south to make my first delivery."
"Oh, I can't wait to pay my rent for the next six months without getting beaten by Charlie and Otis," muttered Logan with relief. "That'll make the girl happy. I won't fail her." Then Logan heard a rattling sound from behind him. He turned to see with wide eyes. A group of bikers riding on motorcycles with flaming wheels.

That made Logan bolt back into the Jeep and slammed the gas pedal. The Jeep sped off as the bikers began chasing him. "Oh, shit!" cursed Logan. He kept looking at the rear view mirror and back to the road. Then three more bikers drove up in front of him. Logan swerved the Jeep as he slammed the brakes. The bikers completely surrounded the Jeep. One of the bikers opened the door and threw Logan out of the Jeep. He fell on the ground as the bikers began to whip Logan with their chains. They all shouted, "What's the matter, pig? Stand up! Fight back! What the hell's wrong with you, man?" Logan lifted his bloodied head up as he proclaimed, "I will never hurt... another living soul... You can do what you like to me, boys... but I refuse to strike you back." One of the bikers hit Logan with a bat with nails sticking out and taunted, "Well, that's pretty stupid." Logan grunted as the bikers went up to the Jeep and wondered what was inside. Then suddenly Logan heard a familiar voice commanded, "Attack!"
Logan looked up to see Ruby Rose, Jaune Arc, Nora Valkyrie, and Lie Ren attacking the bikers. He weakly got back up as he went around the Jeep and leaned against it for cover. Logan's eyes closed as his healing factor kicked in. He breathed in heavily as he opened his eyes to see Ruby kneeling down to him. "Are you okay?" asked Ruby. Logan replied, "Ruby?" Then Ruby instantly recognized him as she asked, "Logan?" Logan smiled as he said, "Yeah, it's me." She immediately hugged him as Jaune walked in and asked, "Ruby, why are you hugging a stranger?" Ruby explained, "He's not a stranger. He's Logan!" Then the three recognized him as Logan got back up. Nora bombarded Logan with questions, "What happened? Where have you been? Why didn't you break the Ghost Riders' legs? And..." She took a good look at Logan as she added, "And why are you dressed up like an old man?" Then Nora's eyes lit up, "That's what we should call you! Old Man Logan!" Ren scolded, "Nora!" Logan chuckled, "Guess Nora hasn't changed. Good for her." Ren said woefully, "So it is true. You have taken an oath to not to fight with your claws again? You're now a pacifist?" Logan held his head as Jaune asked, "What did they do to you?" Logan sighed, "They broke me, bub. Only reason I'm still alive."
