Logan could not stop but think about the fact that Dog Logan was his older brother. Dog seemed to clearly know who Logan was. He couldn't help but feel that Dog and Logan had met each other at some point in his childhood. Logan could only remember the only chunks of his childhood he knows of.

One night, John and Elizabeth Howlett had to go somewhere so they enlisted the Hudsons to babysit James. They played board games, hide and seek, and read James stories before bedtime.

Young James Howlett was tucked into bed by his mother Elizabeth Howlett. "Can you tell me a bedtime story, Mom?" asked James. Elizabeth smiled as she sat down next to him as she told him a story.

You know why the moon is so lonely? 'Cause she used to have a lover. His name was Kuekuatsheu. They lived in the Spirit World together. And every night they'd wander the skies together. But one of the other spirits was jealous. The Trickster wanted the Moon for himself. So he told Kuekuatsheu that the Moon asked for flowers. He told him to come to our world and pick her some wild roses. Kuekuatsheu didn't know that once you leave the Spirit World, you can never go back. Every night the Moon searches for him, and every night he sees her in the sky and howls her name, but he can never touch her again.

"What does... Kukucachu mean?" asked James innocently. Elizabeth laughed as she corrected him, "Kuekuatsheu. Means the 'Wolverine.'" Elizabeth stroked her hand on James' cheek and smiled, "Goodnight my beautiful little boy."

James Howlett slept on his bed after his parents tucked him in, an angry mob of humans broke inside the house. That woke James up as he climbed out of bed and raced down the stairs. He was horrified of what he just saw. His parents were dead on the floor and blood was everywhere. His stepbrother, Victor showed up and got infuriated. Claws stretched out of his fingers as he ran on all fours and attacked the humans. James ran to his dead mother as he kneeled down to rest his head on her neck and cried. One human that managed to get away from Victor's wraith pointed his shotgun closely toward James. James heard the gun click as his sobs stopped suddenly. He felt a pain coming from his fists as he screamed. Bone claws started to spout out of his fists as James turned to kill the human with the shotgun. After the human mob was killed, Victor and James ran out of the house. The next morning, James woke up in an alleyway covered in garbage. Victor came back with bread, honey, and bacon for their breakfast. As of right now, James didn't care whether or not Victor had stolen the food. James was really hungry. As he ate, Victor noticed how upset James was. He gently gripped on James's shoulder as he reassured, "Hey, what those humans did, they took it from others. We will one day make them pay for what they did. For now, we're brothers and we're going to stick together. Got that?" James nodded as he finished the bread. "C'mon. Let's get out of this dump," said Victor as he got up. James did, too, as he followed him. There were some humans jeering at them, but James focused on following Victor.

Then Victor suddenly stopped as James accidentally bumped into him. James looked at him curiously as Victor pointed to some Faunus put on strange looking masks and a guard let them come inside of a building. "Let's go," beckoned Victor. "Do you think they'll let us in?" asked James. Victor said matter of factly, "Well, they let those Faunus in. I don't see why not." James nodded as he followed Victor. The guard seemed nice enough to put the masks on them and let them in. James and Victor found themselves in a room full of Faunus wearing the same mask. Then someone appeared in front of the crowding Faunus and spoke, "For those who have entered here, you have been victimized by humankind. For too long, we have been victims of their taunting, belittling us, and murdering many of us. Well no more. Now we will show them we are superior than them. Who's with me?!!!" The Faunus cheered, including Victor. James wondered to himself. Is this what his mother would have wanted him to do? Will the group that he and Victor are into will make a difference? All these thoughts trailed pass him as he followed Victor into his initiation into the White Fang.

Maybe I'll find my answers sometime later, thought Logan. Right now, for all know, Victor Creed might be out there planning to attack the ones I care about. If he was gonna do it, then why hasn't even started? Then Logan stopped as he thought, Unless Victor is waiting for the right time. Question is, when?

Meanwhile, Victor Creed was sharpening his claws as he thought nastily, Made you paranoid enough, eh Jimmy? Well, eventually I'm gonna break bit by bit and then I'm gonna kill you once and for all, runt.
