Few Weeks Later
A few weeks had passed and now the middle of February had been reached. Cheryl had been coming along well in her pregnancy so far and in her battle against the depression; having shared some of her fears with Liam, and Liam of course reassuring her that she had nothing to worry about as he wanted nothing more than to be a father of course. This has helped Cheryl feel miles better and she now had obviously fully accepted her pregnancy; now being just about three and a half months gone. A small baby bump was forming which was exciting for them to see; Sophia often cuddling the bump and Liam often having his hand resting on it when they were having a cuddle and all sorts. Cheryl's friends and family as well as Liam's friends and family were aware of the pregnancy as well; everyone being extremely happy for the couple – and especially for Cheryl who was happier than ever before.
The only stressful thing that was still bothering Cheryl was the court case involving Joe Smith and his lot and her little Sophia. While the case had been originally planned for the first week of February, Joe had suddenly decided that he wasn't ready and had requested for the case to be pushed back another month, something that had pissed Cheryl off as her team was ready – and she was even more furious when this request was granted. The case was now not until the first week of March, and Cheryl was spending her time combing through everything with her Sophia to make sure they were all set to go whilst also keeping her eyes peeled as she didn't know whether or not there was something else up Joe's sleeve.
"Cheryl, you have a delivery, babe." Lily announced as she walked into Cheryl's office on the cold February afternoon; Cheryl looking up from the file she was reading through for a meeting she had on the afternoon with a young man whom she was planning to represent in the coming weeks for yet another custody case. She smiled at the sight of the large bouquet of roses as she stood up, the long sleeved black dress she was wearing framing her body perfectly and shaping her adorable baby bump in the most flattering way while the neckline stopped above her cleavage as to not reveal anything. She wore a pair of thigh high black boots, the heels clicking against her carpeted floor as she walked over to greet Lily.
"Oh my God." She chuckled softly, taking the flowers into her hands. She took a look at the little card attached, her eyes sparkling with happiness as she read the little note...
'I just want to make it with you. – LP xo'
"Somebody's preparing for Valentine's Day, isn't he?" Lily smirked as she watched the adorable smile come across Cheryl's face; Cheryl looking up and nodding her head as she giggled to herself out of pure happiness.
"He's a soppy sod," she smirked at the little note on the card, "I'll call him; what's the time?"
"It's just gone noon, babe." Lily remarked. Cheryl nodded, thanking her before making her way over to her desk. She put the flowers down and sat back in her chair, picking up her phone straight away and taking a picture of the flowers, before sending a sweet text message off to Liam;
<<12:01pm – THANK YOU FOR MY GORGEOUS FLOWERS. You're one hell of a man aren't you? I love you so much babe xxxxx>>
She let out the cliché in love sigh, a cute smile on her face as she stroked her fingers over the soft petals. Roses were her favorite flower as is; she had a whole tattoo dedicated to roses that started from the middle of her back and flowed down over her bum before stopping at the tops of her thighs, she had a small rose tattoo around her thigh as well. She loved how Liam knew so much about her and knew the ways to her heart; simple ways that jus showed he was thinking about her.
Her phone buzzed on her desk, bringing her from her thoughts as she picked it up again. She smiled straight away, seeing the adorable message from him.
