The next morning, the London court room was once again full of the supporters of Cheryl and Sophia, as well as supporters of Joe Smith and his goons as well. Cheryl and Sophia were on one side while Joe, Carter, and Adam were on the other – all of them waiting patiently for the verdict as the jury had just come in from another hour of deliberations and were finally ready to deliver the verdict.

"If the jury is ready to deliver a verdict, we asked that you begin with 'We the jury'." Judge Penn spoke as the group of jurors stood up. Cheryl and Sophia stood up, holding each other's hands tightly as well whilst Joe, Carter, and Adam all stood up on their side as well, looking slightly smug as if they expected to come out of this victorious.

And the tension in the room hung thick in the air as the jury began to read the verdicts...

"We the jury find Joseph Smith guilty on one count of conspiring to commit abduction."

"We the jury find Joseph Smith guilty on one count of abduction."

We the jury find Carter Tims guilty on one count of conspiring to commit abduction."

"We the jury find Carter Tims guilty on one count of abduction."

"We the jury find Adam Peyton guilty on one count of conspiring to commit abduction."

"We the jury find Adam Peyton guilty on one count of abduction."

"We the jury find Carter Tims guilty on one count of sexual assault on a minor."

"We the jury find Adam Peyton guilty on one count of sexual assault on a minor."

"We did it!" Cheryl burst out, scooping Sophia up into her arms and hugging her tightly while their supporters hugged each other as well. Supporters of Joe, Carter, and Adam all filed out of the courtroom with looks of despair on their faces while Joe, Carter, and Adam were escorted back to jail after being ordered to do so whilst they waited for sentencing; the three men having defeated looks on their faces. Cheryl and Sophia as well as everyone supporting them filed out into the lobby; hugs being shared between everyone as justice had been served for Sophia, which they were all extremely happy about.

"Well done, sweetheart; so proud of you, little miss lawyer!" Joan praised her daughter straight away, kissing her cheek before pinching Sophia's cheek.

"You did it Chez; you fought for justice for Soph and got it!" Garry burst out; hugging his sister and his niece tightly.

"Best lawyer in all the land; get in, Bella!" Nicola chimed in, hugging them as well.

"I don't know how you do it, Cheryl, but that was impressive," Karen chimed in as well, "Amazing, love; very well done."

"That was what I call fighting for what you believe; well done, Cheryl." Geoff added, patting her shoulder.

"She's the best in the world," Liam chuckled as he wrapped his arms around Cheryl from behind before kissing her cheek, "That was amazing, baby; you guys done it!"

"And now it's all over," she breathed out as she stroked some hair out of Sophia's face, "Right, let's get on out of here – it's only noon and I have a meeting at two, and then I'll be home early."

"Yeah I'm off to work too; I get off at five." Liam chuckled as he and his father really did have to go to work. Garry was going back to work too but would drop Sophia and Joan off at his own place, and Cheryl would pick her up once she'd finished work.

"Don't give Nanny a hard time this afternoon," Cheryl sweetly kissed her cheek once they'd gotten outside, "I love you."

"I love you too, Mammy; have a good afternoon." Sophia sweetly replied. Cheryl waved her off and hugged her mother goodbye as well before getting into her own car. Everyone else dispersed into their cars as well, before they all headed off in their different directions for the afternoon...
