This world keeps spinning but for Riley the world just seems a bit lifeless. That is until she meets a boy who might just make this world a little brighter and bring a piece of life back into a boring world she sees no hope for.
I groan softly stretching some feeling his arm tighten around me making me smile. I cuddle back into him because the warmth from his body was addictive. Ashe had agreed he could spend the night but the door had to stay open.
I just made my room colder and so I had to cuddle more into him. I hide my face into his side trying to keep it warm. I wanted more days like this and as he combs through my hair I'm sure he does too. "Wakey Wakey sleepyhead." He says softly to me making me whine.
"It's time for you to get up and go to school." I shake my head. He chuckles some kissing my head. "You're just so adorable babe." I smile holding on to him. I let my hand find his locking our fingers together. "I'm not going without you. It'll be hell." My eyes are still closed but I know he's smiling.
"Babe you will have to go back eventually. I got suspended for two days and Ashe isn't going to let you stay that long." I scoot up nuzzling my head use his. "I don't care what Ashe says." I hear her scuff. "And I was just about to drive down to your school to get your work so you could stay home until this whole thing dies down." I sigh not opening my eyes.
"Ashe you know me I'm gonna listen to whatever you tell me." She sighs. "That's true. I'll be back sister dear." Our intertwined hands are laying on his stomach as she walks away. "Ri open your eyes." He says softly. I do looking up at him.
"Good morning." I hum. "I'd say so." He kisses me and I smiling kissing him back. He plus back and I can see the hesitation on his face. "Ri...can I stick my foot in my mouth and you not hate me?" I chuckle some. "Sure Evan." He sighs. "You don't have to agree or feel the same it's just I need to say it." I nod softly. "I-I love you Riley."
My smile fades a little. "Evan I'm not sure I know what love feels like. If I told you how I feel could you tell me." He takes a breath. "Hey Ri there's no way for me to tell. Your love can be completely different from mine but I'll tell you how I feel and you can decide."
I nod playing with his fingers. "I love spending every second with you. I love being able to make you smile and I love being able to say that you're all mine. I love the thought of us being together and I love the thought of just being your happiness. Ri you're perfect and I wouldn't let any harm come to you. I would give my life to make sure you were safe and happy. A second without you is like life before you. It doesn't have a meaning to me. Riley I know I've only known you for less than a week but I can't stop how I feel."
I lean in kissing him. "I love you too Evan. But Evan no more big steps because I'm not ready for..." He kisses me cutting me off. "When you're ready you take that step Ri. I will never make that step for you." I smile. "Now can we please go back to being normal." He nods. I nuzzle my head back under his and he smiles.
"You're everything to me Ri." I hum. "I better be." It falls silent for a minute and I whine. "Babe I'm hungry." He smiles kissing my forehead. "Well if you get up I can see what I can do." I roll my eyes getting up. "You know you're not a very good pillow." He laughs. "Sorry Ri. Come on I'll see what I can cook up."
I sigh. "I need to change real quick." In my opinion my outfit was just ugly to be seen in. I mean it was cute but it wasn't cute enough to have been seen by my boyfriend. I had on a dark grey and white shirt with sleeves that came down to my mid arm and some shorts that were stripped with dark grey and white to match the shirt.

I stand and he comes around the bed pulling me into him. "No you don't and I'm not letting you. Come on." He says taking my hand tugging me out of the room. I groan following him down to the kitchen. When we get there he let's me go.
"What do you want?" I think. "Eggs and bacon." He nods heading to the fridge for the eggs and the bacon. "Ri can you grab the butter?" I nod heading to the fridge to get some butter. I set the tub on the counter and before I know it the bacon is cooking and I can smell it.
He lifts me onto the counter so I'm on his height level. He kisses me gently as he cooks. My phone buzzes and he glances at me. I pick it up seeing the message from Ashe. 'Mom and dad would have been proud of you Ri and they would have loved Evan. Don't push him away Ri because he cares. I know things get tough but me and Evan are here. They would have loved the beautiful girl you blossomed to be.'
I let the tears fall with a smile. I nod tucking my phone back into the waistband of my shorts. "Riley are you okay?" I nod. "Just sister talk. Nothing to worry about. Hey how about after breakfast we go out? Anywhere. I'll let you pick. I'll even let you spoil me if that's what you want."
He looks at me funny. "Okay but what has gotten into you?" I smile leaning forward to rub our noses together. "It just seems like a nice day to wake up and smell the roses." I say before gently kissing him. "I like this side of you Riley. It's nice to see you happy."
I hum. "It's nice to finally be happy Evan." It did feel great I had to admit. The thought if my parents being proud and happy just made me come alive. I wish they were here but this was the next big thing. The thought of them smiling down on me was enough. It always would be.
