Chapter 27: Heartbreak

I wake up humming softly rolling some to find his soft frame. He combs through my hair. "How do you feel baby girl?" I hum. "Just fine." He smiles. "Good." There is a pause and I open my mouth. "Evan can I say something and you not freak out and push me away." He nods. "Nothing could make me do that babe." I hum. "I want to be with you...forever. I want to be the only one you love until we die. I want to always be your everything." He leans his head down to me. "Riley are you saying you want to spend your life with me?"

I swallow nodding. "I mean no I don't want to run off and get married Evan but I don't want to ever lose you." He kisses me. "I feel the same Ri. I love you and I don't want someone else to make you smile the way I do. I want you to forever be mine. But we are young and I want to just be like we've been being for now." I hum. "Agreed."

He cuddles me into him and we smile. "Are you hungry?" I hum. "I could eat." My phone buzzes. "Is Chinese okay?" I nod opening my texts. 'Ri call me when you can.' I sit up. "Can you excuse me?" He nods. I had underwear but not a bra so I throw his shirt over my head stepping out onto the balcony calling Ashe.

"Hello?" I sigh. "Hey." I can hear the smile on her face. "I did it Ri! I'm a doctor!" I gasp. "That's great Ashe!" She pauses. "Ri you sound different...oh my!" I swallow. "What?!" She laughs. "You slept with him." I blush staying quiet. "Oh my gosh Riley!" I laugh. "I love him Ashe." I whisper softly.

I hear her hum. "I know Ri and normally would scold you for this but I can see in your eyes and his that you two truly love one another. I'll see you later. Lots of love." She hangs up and I feel his arms. "Was that Ashe?" I hum pushing back into him. "She's a doctor now Evan." I turn looking at him only in his boxers.

"That's great!" I stare and he lifts my face when I frown. "Love?" I sigh. "You need a shirt Evan." He shrugs. "Why?" I whine. "Because you're mine and people can see you." He smirks. "Babe you really think I want them?" I smirk. "If you fitfully be in big trouble but sometimes people want you when you don't want them back."

He pulls me into him. "Fair enough." He pulls me back into the house with him. We sit on the couch and he pulls me close turning on the TV. I cuddle into him. "Evan..." He hums. "I love that." He smirks. "What?" He watches me but I watch the TV. "The way you hum. I love it." He kisses my temple.

"Well I'm glad but that's not why you originally said my name so what's up baby girl?" I sigh. "I love you." He smiles nudging me some. "You know I love you too." I huff. "I hope so." He lifts my face. "Babe..." I shake my head. He grips my jaw lightly. "Don't push me away."

I hear the doorbell and he groans getting up to get it. He comes back with a bag and I'm guessing it's the Chinese food. He sets it on the table pulling me back into him. "Now why do you believe I don't love you?" I huff. "I'm a girl Evan sometime I just get unsure." He kisses me softly.

"Ri I love you. I gave you everything less than two hours ago. You think I give that to just anyone?" I blush shaking my head. "No baby girl. I love you." He kisses me. "I love you." He repeats softer making me smile and so does he humming. "There's that beautiful smile I feel in love with."

I rub my nose on his. "Are you hungry?" He says actually wanting to know. I nod. "Good because I picked out some of my favorites and I think you might like them." He lays out the food and we laugh eating and flirting. I love these moments and I know he does too.

"You make me so happy." He hums touching his nose to mine. "I couldn't agree more." He says softly before kissing me. I had it all. "So what are we doing today baby girl?" I think tapping my chin making him shove his nose into my neck. "I don't know. I'll let you pick today."

He smiles. "Buying my baby whatever she wants sounds pretty nice." I roll my eyes. "And just like that your voting rights have been taken away."

He huffs. "I was joking Ri though the offer is always on the table." I sigh rolling my eyes. I think to myself getting an idea. I throw my leg over him sitting in his lap. He grips my hip. "Babe..." I say sticking out my bottom lip. "Will you buy me a bathing suit?" He nods biting his lip and I smile kissing him. "Your the best."
