"Now class remember that this project is due in two weeks." I sigh as the bell rings and school is finally over with. I stand shuffling through the people and out into the crazy hallway. I feel someone's hand grab mine and I smile hearing his voice. "Hey babe."
"Hey." I say stopping at my locker tossing my bag in. "Have a good day?" I roll my eyes shutting my locker. "Do I ever?" He smiles pushing a piece of hair back into place. "Maybe I can fix that." I smile. "I'm sure you can." He kisses me gently and I pull back some.
"Take me away please." He takes my hand pulling me to the front door of the school. He pulls me to his car and once we are in he pulls my lips to his. "You pick a place anywhere in the state and we'll go." I laugh some. "Evan what's gotten into you." He kisses around my face gently.
"You Ri. I just can't stop thinking how you trust me finally. It makes me incredibly happy and I want to show you that you're not trusting the wrong person." I smile. "So you are willing to run all over town with me tonight?!" He nods kissing me. "Anything to see you smile baby girl."
I hum with a smile on my face. "No babe I think I want to go home with you. I think that's all I need." He smirks. "It's Friday so how about I stop by your house and let you grab some clothes and we can hang at the beach house."
I kiss him. "I'd have to ask Ashe but I would love to. It would be nice to see it with lights for a change." He laughs and so do I. "Okay well to your house we go." He says winking before starting the car backing out. We get to my house and I beg Ashe to go and she just nods hugging me.
"I think it will be good for you to get away for a weekend. Don't have to much fun though." I roll my eyes heading up the stairs. "Thanks Ashe." I grab a bag full of shorts and cute outfits half of which I probably won't use. I head down to meet Evan in his car because he didn't want to come in.
He smiles at the duffle bag on my shoulder. I slide in tossing it in the backseat. He smiles at me and I smile back thinking of something's I probably shouldn't be. He pulls off and I roll my window down feeling the sun on my skin. Eventually I let my eyes close and when they open I'm welcomed by beach house all aligned. He drives further down and stops parking.
I hadn't realized his was this isolated from the others. I feel him move and he scares me a little when I feel his arms around me and he kisses my cheek. "Babe..." I groan some smiling at him as I turn letting our noses touch. "We're here." I hum touching his lips. He kisses my finger softly. "I love you." I nod. "I know Evan." I trace his lips before pulling my finger back. "I love you too." I say softly while having the biggest smile on my face.
He smiles. "Let's go in." I nod as he pulls back and I grab my duffle bag. He gets out first and I follow. His phone rings and he pulls it from his pocket. He reaches out for my duffle bag say a small 'hello' to whoever was on the phone. "Yeah I'm just down at the beach house."
I look up at him as he fiddles for the keys. I take them from his hands gently. "No dad I'm fine right where I am. I have a beautiful girlfriend and I don't care to live with Debra because she'll never be mom." I keep my head down opening the door because I can tell he's irritated.
I step in and he drops my duffle bag. "No nothing can make me come back down there. I'm nineteen and you don't own me." He sees me step off and I hear him sigh. "But I have to go. Bye." He runs up the stairs after me. I hear him as I toss my duffle bag on the bed.
He grabs me pushing me to the wall kissing me. "Ri please tell me you aren't upset with me." I look down. "No I-I just..." He lifts my face. "Babe..." I sigh. "I don't like when you yell." He cups my face kissing me. "I'm so sorry. No more yelling. Please smile for me." I hug him and he sets his head on mine hugging me back.
"Are you hungry? Can I get you anything?" I smile softly. "You can point me to a bath." He smiles. "Sure thing. It's right across the hall. You need anything just call." I nod. He steps away and I snag a shirt from his closet and a pair of shorts from my bag along with a pair of underwear and a new bra.
I head into the bathroom stopping in awe. The bathroom was bigger than my bedroom. The tub was huge and as I step into it I'm over come by bliss. I'm in for awhile but eventually Evan knocks on the door. "Ri are you okay?" My eye are closed and I hum. "Just fine. I could stay in here forever." I know he's frowning "please don't. I was hoping to spend some time with you." I take a breath. "Okay Evan, I'll be right out."
I had him step away and I pull the plug getting out. Once I'm dressed I unwrap the towel on my head. I pick up my things taking them back to my bag. After that I head down to the living room to find Evan on the couch. I step around the couch before sitting to curl into him.
He's focused on the TV and I whine. "Babe..." He ignores me so I kiss at his jaw softly before sucking a hickey into his neck making him sigh softly. He pulls his neck from me kissing me gently. He pulls me over to sit across his lap never taking his lips from mine. I feel his hands slide up my shirt to grip my hips.
I hum shaking my head softly. He pulls his hands back and I cup his face kissing him. I hum letting my hands pull his arms around me. "Evan..." He sets his nose on mine. "Yes?" I touch his lips. "Whose Debra?" He sighs. "My step mom and my dad wants me to come stay for a week or so."
I nudge my nose against his. "You shouldn't talk to him like that. At least he's still here and he's trying. Why not go down for Christmas break in a few weeks?" He kisses me. "I want to spend that time with you but I will call and apologize. You're right Ri. I'm sorry." I run my fingers through his hair.
"You don't have to be here Evan. You just want to spoil me." He laughs. "You know it baby girl. I'm gonna fill the bottom of you're tree with gifts. With stuff you didn't even know you wanted." I hum. "Don't you dare." He kisses me gently. "Who's gonna stop me?" I nudge my nose into his cheek. "I guess no one but I can't afford to spend thy much on you so it isn't fair."
He smiles looking over my face. "You're enough of a gift Ri. I don't need anything else." I kiss him. "Whatever Evan." He hums. "Don't be like that. You know I love you." I slide off of his lap. "I love you too." I wedge myself under his arm and he takes his phone on I assume texting his dad. I smile.
A weekend away with him would be nice and just what I need. Life seemed better even if my parents weren't here he helped take my mind from it so the days didn't seem too bad. I kinda like it to be honest. It was okay to be a little happy.
Merry Christmas🎄
