My alarm wakes me abruptly in the morning and I groan. I turn it off rubbing my eyes to see my phone. Evan had texted me as I knew he would have. 'Good morning Ri. I can't wait to see you today. 😘 I'm so sorry that I'm leaving. 💔 I'm gonna miss you bunches. 😩'

I smile throwing the covers off of me. 'Good morning Evan. I just can't seem to explain how you warm my heart. ❤ I hope to see you real soon.' I leave it at that jogging over to my closet. I decide on my blue jeans with the rips in the knee and a black small crop top.

I get dressed pulling on my pants first rolling up the legs some once there on. Then I slide a bra on and let the crop top slide over my head. I pull my white vanes from the closet sliding them on. Evan never replied to me and when I hear the knock on my door I know why. "Come in." I say loudly in a sweet voice.

He steps in and I don't acknowledge him at first. I am pulling my strands of hair into the right place. I turn around and watch his stare move slowly over my body. He makes his way to me kissing me a little rough this time. "No Riley." I frown. "You-you don't like it?" He pulls my body against his. "No I love it and that's the problem. You make leaving you so much harder."

I hum softly. "Besides don't you think it's a little revealing. Here." He says taking his white and black checkered button down off giving it to me. I roll the sleeves up liking the way it looks as I turn in the mirror to look at myself.

I decide to leave my hair natural and I turn back to face him

I decide to leave my hair natural and I turn back to face him. "Better Evan?" He shakes his head gripping my sides pulling me back into him before kissing me again. I giggle softly. "Evan..." I whine softly pouting. "What babe?" I stick out my bottom lip pouting as I wrap my arms around his neck setting my nose on his.

"Can't we just forget school and you can stay with me?" He sighs and I feel his warm breath on my neck. "I wish I could. I'd give anything to but no Riley we can't." I sigh harshly. "I don't want to walk out that door with you Evan."

He hugs me softly. "Me either Ri but it's time." I sigh trying to push my tears back and I'm not sure why this was so hard. I would see him again. I pull away from him taking my bag off the rack making sure I have everything. "Are you ready?"

I shake my head and he smiles taking my hand pulling me out of the room. When we get downstairs I pull free from his hand stepping into the kitchen. He follows me and I take the necklace from the box I set on the counter last night. "Do you mind Evan?"

He shakes his head and I hand it to him turning around holding my hair up. He clips it around my neck and I sigh feeling it. I shove the empty box in my purse. I turn to him and he kisses me. "Look happy Ri." I put on a fake smile and so does he before taking my hand pulling me out of the house.

When we get into his car we both take a breath trying our hardest to be okay. We head to school in silence and he parks getting out with me. We head in hand in hand for the first time. Normally there would be a smile on my face but not this time.

There's a lot of people in the hallway but I only notice one person walking up to me. Alec. I let my head fam to look at my feet. "Well if it isn't little miss Riley. And who's this supposed to be? You're boyfriend?" He laughs. "He probably only feels sorry for you. I mean honestly look at you. You aren't good enough."

"I'm sorry but who the hell are you?!" He has this crimson smile on his face. "Alec." He tenses at the name and the only reason he hasn't hit him is because my hand is in his and I'm gripping it tightly. "And what gives you the right to talk down to her like that?!"

He chuckles. "She's a push over. I could slap her and she wouldn't say anything." Evan smirks. "I wish you would. Put a finger on her. Go ahead."  He scuffs. "You don't have to pretend like you care about her she's used to being unnoticed."

His grip loosens on my hand. "Than slap her. If I don't care and I'm bluffing slap her." He shrugs. "I've always liked making a fool out of you." He says before slapping my cheek a little rough making me lose my grip on Evans hand.

Before I looked up he had hit him multiple times. "Evan!" I say cupping my mouth. I try to pull him off of him but I'm just not strong enough. The security guards pull them apart but he grabs me kissing me. "You're worth everything to me." He whispers before they pull him away from me. I watch as they walk him down the hallway and he just disappears.

The bell rings and the people swarm around me I stand still in awe not knowing what to do. I see the door in front of me and I dart out into the street running home. I think I sob softly but I'm not sure why I just hoped Evan was okay. That's all that mattered. For now anyways.

Enjoy. 💘
