"Stop..." I whine softly push his face away from me. He smiles softly at me letting his nose rest on mine. "You flirt too much." I say giggling softly and I love that he makes me this way. "What do you want me to sit here and act like you don't look amazing and I don't have feelings for you?"

I roll my eyes smiling. "Let's be honest that's not possible." He kisses me softly and I can feel the emotions running through me. It takes strength not to run my fingers through his hair to keep him in place but I bite back that urge. I have to stay strong if I want to really surprise him.

He pulls back and we just stare at each other for a minute. "Of course it's not Ri." I'm not really listening to him as I lean in to kiss him again. He willingly moves his lips with mine. Somehow earlier he had gotten me on the couch and we were supposed to be watching TV but that plan wasn't really working out.

We had our legs locked together and we managed to fit laying down on this couch. Cuddling one might say but to me that's more of a relationship thing. Though what were we doing that wasn't a relationship thing.

He pulls away softly and I lay my head on him. "You tired Riley?" I shake my head. "No you're just warm." He has his arms around me and I like the feeling of being safe. He plays with my hair and I think about all the cute things we get to do when I am his girlfriend.

"What are you thinking about?" I sigh shaking my head snuggling into him. "Oh nothing Evan. Just in my own little world." He smirks softly at me. "Care to let me in?" I sigh nodding my head. "Why you hiding something?" I swallow. "Ri..." I shake my head. "No Evan I'm not hiding anything."

He doesn't hesitate to reply. "Riley I've been nothing but honest and open with you. Please..." I sigh sharply knowing its now or never apparently. "Evan...I've been thinking. All day actually and I've come to a conclusion. It only take one moment to be right but if you're not careful so much could go wrong. Evan I've been so careful to make sure nothing goes wrong so I'm saying this because I'm sure."

He runs a thumb back and forth over my cheek. "Evan...ask." He smiles widely at me. "Riley will you be my girlfriend?" I nod kissing him and everything seems so right. I wanted this more than anything deep down. Nothing could change the warmth in my heart he gave me. "Ri...thank you. You don't understand how much this means to me. I won't let you down I promise."

I smile. "First boyfriend Evan. Make it count." He kisses me again but this is more passionate. His lips more with mine and I love how he's so gentle but when he's overexcited he can be a little rough. When he pulls back he kisses all over my face gently making me scrunch up my face. "I'm gonna miss you so much baby girl."

I blush softly at his cute little nickname giggling softly setting my hand on his chest. "I'm gonna miss you too." I hug him and he kisses my head softly. "Hey it's gonna be okay. I'll be back before you know it." I sigh. "It's not fair. You have to leave before we even get to celebrate."

He lifts my face. "No Ri we are going to celebrate I still have plans. Speaking of it we have to get going." I frown softly whining some. "Come on well have fun." He whispers softly to me. I sigh sitting up and he does to before standing. He takes my hands pulling me into him.

"Smile for me please?" He smiles and I can't help but to smile back. "Come on Evan." He brushes a thumb across my face. "Would you like to change first?" I frown softly at him. "Do I need to?" He kisses me softly and it's quick. "No Ri you look great to me. I just figured maybe you would like to."

I sigh taking his hands in mine. "Evan you can tell me if you want me to change. It won't hurt my feelings." He kisses my cheek softly. "Riley I don't care how you look because you always be just as beautiful to me." I roll my eyes. "Whatever Evan. I'll change but the least you could do was own up."

He grabs my arm as I go to walk away. "Hey why do you not believe me?" I sigh step back in front of him. "Because I'm not as beautiful as you portray me to be." He smirks softly at me. "Can I?" He says holding hid hand out and I give it to him. He leads me to the bathroom and stands with me in front of the huge mirror taking up the majority of the wall.

"What are you doing Evan?" He stares at me in the mirror. "I'm gonna show you what I see Ri." My heart drops as he steps behind me placing his head in the crevasse of my neck wrapping his arms completely around my waist. "Let's start with the basics Ri. I like the deep green of your eyes. I like the way you eyes crinkle at the edge when you laugh and when you smile you have this dimple that just brightens up my day."

I can't help but smile. "I like the way our lips fit together and I like the way it's seems to brighten your day for me to kiss you. That's what beauty is to me Riley." I turn in his arms wrapping my arms around his neck. "I still believe you want me to change." He unwraps one arm to touch my face.

"Riley I don't okay? If you want to I'll be more than happy to take you but you'll be beautiful regardless of what you were." I kiss him gently. "Thank you Evan." He smiles glancing from my eye to my lips and then back up at my eyes. "Don't thank me Ri. What are boyfriends for?" I laugh some. "Shut up Evan."

He laughs some too. "Come on Ri before we run out of daylight." I nod kissing him once more before heading out of the bathroom with him and eventually out of the apartment building.

I never really cared much about relationships but Evan was my boyfriend and I was all his. That meant so much more. I think I understand the meaning now and I have Evan to thank for that. I could thank him for a lot of things but that was just too long of a list. In the end we were together and happy. What else is there to say?

Enjoy.🍂
