- Carisma's POV -
I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
Both of my hands, including my metal hand, glowed scarlet red and I could punch and destroy a tree with little to no effort at all. I wonder what will happen if I punch a person. That should be fun.
" Now for Alisha and Yvanna. " Ms.P looked over at the two girls. I took a seat next to Brooke on the porch and observed with little interest in watching my two friends.
Ms.P walked up to both Alisha and Yvanna and bent down to face them. " Hm... " Ms.P hummed in thought and stopped in front of Yvanna's still frame. " You're giving off a dark energy. " Ms.P continued to stare at Yvanna, studying her. " She's a halfling. " Slender commented. " Hm. Let me see... " Ms.P stood up and started flipping through the pages of the large, leather book. " What's a halfling? " Yvanna questioned. Stopping at a page close to the back, Ms.P mumbled the spell under her breath as she dragged her finger along the German writing. " A halfling is a half human half demon. " The faceless being answered a curious Yvanna. " Here, try this spell. " the large book floated down to Yvanna's height.
" Ich verlasse das Licht und lasse die Dunkelheit mich vor allen schützen. Lassen Sie das Licht verblassen und die Dunkelheit in mir übernehmen. Zeichne einen dunklen Kreis um mich und schütze mich mit all seiner Kraft. So soll es sein! " Yvanna finished the spell and looked around confused, seeing as nothing had happened. " Hm. " Ms.P muttered in confusion. " Let's work on you later. " Ms.P put her hand to her chin. Yvanna scowled and marched over to where Brooke and I sat. Brooke snickered under her breath and Yvanna glared daggers at the blue eyed girl. Brooke returned with a cheeky grin.
The day has gone by rather quickly, seeing as the sun was about to start setting.
" We can continue another time. Goodbye Slender and girls. " Ms.P stated before disappearing. Alisha huffed in annoyance. " You all did very well today. " Slenderman praised us and I smiled. Brooke and Alisha hadn't done anything, but whatever. We all made our way to the front door to go inside, but Brooke hanged back for whatever reason.
- Brooke's POV -
I hanged back as the others made their way into the warmth of the large mansion. " Slenderman? " I turned to face the tall man. " Yes Brooke? " I looked up and held out my hand, allowing the bright, blue light to glow. " I want to learn how to do healing hands. " I said sternly, almost demanding. Slender sighed and took my hand into his cold pale one. Staring down at my hand for a moment, he let his grip on my hand go. " Jeff, Ben come out here! " Slenderman called for the blond elf and smiling boy.
Ben stumbled out the front door and Jeff came walking out a few moments after. " Yes mother? " Ben said sarcastically and Jeff punched his shoulder in a joking manner. " Jeff, I want you to stab Ben. " Slenderman ordered. " WHAT?! " Ben screamed in shock and Jeff laughed under his breath. " With pleasure. " Jeff pulled a sharp, glistening kitchen knife out of his white hoodie pocket and attempted to tackle Ben. " WHAT THE FUCK SLENDER?! " Ben screeched loudly, stepping out of the way of Jeff. Ben attempted to sprint away, but one of Slender's tendrils caught the Link impostor. " JEFF STOP! " Ben flailed around in Slender's hold like a rag doll without bones. " Oh it won't kill you. HOLD STILL! " Jeff plunged his knife into Ben's stomach and pulled away with a sadistic laugh of pleasure. " I'M GOING TO NEUTER YOU IN YOUR SLEEP JEFFERY WOODS! " Ben squealed in anger as he bled profusely from his wound. Jeff snarled at the mention of his full name. " Don't call me that Benjamin. " Jeff raised his already bloodied knife to stab Ben again, but Slenderman pulled it out of his hands before anything could have happened. Jeff scoffed and went inside weaponless.
How the hell did we end up here?
I chuckled at Max as Slenderman let Ben out of his hold. Ben pointed down to his abdomen and cursed loudly. He didn't seem to be in any sort of pain. Weird. " Brooke heal Ben. " Slender gestured to the angry elf. " W - what? " " OH IS THAT WHAT THIS IS?! A TEACHING LESSON?! " Ben reluctantly laid on the cold snow. I walked over to Ben and put both of my blue hands on his fresh stab wound, allowing the blue light to intensify and light blue swirls made their way onto my arm. It took a lot of concentration, but the wound eventually faded and left a small scar. All the concentration left me with a migraine like head ache and I groaned in exhaustion as I put my hand to my head. I wonder if it'll take less time on already healing wounds. " Continue to practice and it'll take less time and concentration. " Slenderman walked inside and I let Ben up. The blond boy stood up and looked down at his blood soaked shirt. " You've gotta be kidding me! " Ben exclaimed in anger. " Sorry. " I said sheepishly. " Nah, it's not your fault B. It was that damn Clorox clown and the tall mime. " I chuckled and Ben let out an annoyed sigh as he crossed his arms over his chest. " I'm going to kill that clown, I swear. " Ben huffed as he marched inside, leaving me by myself outside.
I guess Ben is their test dummy.
Max's comment made me laugh. " I guess he is. He doesn't seem to feel pain like human's do. " I said aloud as my eyes trailed from my hands down to my leg.
Brooke? What are you thinking? Don't do anything stupid.
Ignoring Max, I continued to stare down at the white, scuff covered cast on my leg. As I continued to stare blankly, an idea came to mind. I made my way inside as fast as I could and up stairs.
I stumbled over to Carisma's bedroom door and went in without bothering to knock. " Hey? " Carisma greeted me in confusion. " Carisma! I need your help. " I exclaimed through hitched breaths. " Okay? " " I need you to rip this damn cast off. " I gestured to my imprisoned leg. " Are you crazy?! " Carisma shot up from her desk. " Yes! " Carisma glared at me and huffed. " Your leg isn't healed yet Brooke. " Carisma crossed her arms over her chest defensively. " Trust me. " I stared into Carisma's big eyes and she dropped her arms and sighed.
THIS IS STUPID! WHY WOULD YOU THINK THIS IS A GOOD IDEA?! DON'T YOU DARE BROOKE!
I sat on the edge of Carisma's bed and braced myself. Carisma's hands glowed red and she griped the top of my cast. Slowly, Carisma ripped the cast down the front and I winced every now and then.
Making the last tear, Carisma looked up at me. " Ready? " I nodded my head and Carisma pulled the cast off rather quickly. Carisma reeled back instinctively and covered her nose with the back of her hand. " Ugh. It smells like something died in there. " Carisma commented in disgust. I don't blame her. There's a lot of sweat and blood in that cast. " So, what's your MASTER plan dumbass? " Carisma asked sarcastically. I ignored her question and started to let the blue light glow. I pushed both my hands on the broken area and concentrated with all my effort.
Don't push yourself dumbass.
I could hear a small gasp slip from Carisma's mouth. I opened my eyes and stared down at my once broken leg. The pain was gone and the little pigment I have painted my skin. I stood up and felt light headed. Carisma stared in awe as she saw me reach for the bandage on my collar bone. I ripped the bandage off and dropped it onto the hardwood floor. I held my hand up to my neck and pushed down. Seeing the blue light out of the corner out of my eye, I quickly became dizzy and struggled to stand still. I used my last bit of energy to heal the small wound and collapsed. I was still conscious, but had no energy.
See. You shouldn't have pushed yourself like that. You JUST learned how to do healing hands, your body is still getting use to it.
" Yeah. You were right. Sorry. " I mumbled to Max.
