- Brooke's POV -

I curled up against the wall of my cell and stared at the wall opposite of me, where my mother should be sitting.

I'm sure she's okay Brooke.

Max tried to comfort me, but failed miserably. " I don't want false hope Max... " I mumbled. Max stayed silent.

I panned my vision up to the ceiling and sighed dismally.

A few more moments passed by before the building shook slightly and ear splitting sirens went off.

Through the sirens, I could hear heavy boots run past my cell and gunfire in the distance. People shouting and other things from other neighboring cells get riled up or angered.

Another loud explosion shook the building and more gunfire could be heard.

I glanced around frantically and struggled against my restraints. My whole body is sore, but this is my opportunity to get out.

- Jack's POV -

I used Jeff's nearly empty lighter to light a fuse to one of the five pipe bombs and threw it with enough force to break the glass of the front window. The S.C.P. Foundation looks like an ordinary office building to the naked eye, but a menacing horror to anyone who knows what it, they really are.

After a few seconds a beep could be heard and fire engulfed the entire front lobby. The all too familiar sirens rang out and I tensed a bit, remembering my troubled past.

MTF officers were dispatched and Jeff rushed into action, knife ready and with no hesitation.

Jeff took a bullet to his left shoulder and winced at the pain, but his adrenaline kept him going strong.

I lunged at one of the first MTF officers I detected near and plunged my teeth into their neck. Blood soaked both my hoodie and the MTF uniform. Ripping the chunk from his neck, swallowed it, readjusted my mask and Jeff and I rushed into the staircase next to the elevator, more MTF trying to follow. I pulled the metal door shut and grabbed a piece of metal pipe that was blown out by the pipe bomb. I slid the piece of metal pipe into the the ringed door handle. " Alright we gotta go! " Jeff stated as I heard his feet hit every metal step on the way down.

As we made our way down the stairs, the sirens grew quieter and quieter, but were never quite gone.

" Guys! " Ben's voice rang out over the intercom and we halted. " What?! " Jeff called out harshly. " You can only access her from this floor. From this floor take the elevator down to T3, you'll find her there. " Ben informed us. " What room? " I questioned. " T66. " Ben answered as the intercom went dead.

I ran back up the stairs a bit. " What the fuck are you doing?! " Jeff asked through clenched teeth. " Do you want this to kill us? " I asked as I held up the second of the five pipe bombs. Jeff didn't answer, he just sprinted back up the stairs as I lit the fuse and dropped it back down to the armored door.

The sound was deafening and the shock wave was worse, but I shook off the tension and quickly made my way down what was left of the stairs and through the new opening. Ten MTF officers were dispatched from that floor and the both of us dove for cover behind a reception desk.

Jeff grabbed the third of the the five pipe bombs, lit it and threw it into the group of officers. " Get down! " one man called out, but it was too late. The bomb went off and all the gunfire came to an abrupt stop. Jeff and I dove out from behind a desk and sprinted for the elevator.

As Jeff banged on the button, Ben's voice came again. " The elevators were stopped for emergency purposes. " I groaned and Jeff and I worked together to pry the elevator doors open.
