Chapter Five: Punishment

Edward POV

Its been half an hour and Maymay is still not here I texted her to be here at my house exact 3:00 pm but NO! she is 30 mins late. Argh someone. shoot. me. "Sir, Ms. Marydale is waiting outside.."
FINALLY?!?

I got out of the couch and head to the door were I already glance that nerdy glasses "Maymay?! Do you have a watch??" I angrily asked, Maymay ignore me and just head inside then sat down on the couch. "Edwaaaaaaard! Tapusin na natin! toh!" She shouted so loudly all the maids can hear her it was very loud and it echoed the room.

"Maymaaay, don't shout.." I said but she rolled her eyes at me, Girls... I don't get them why are they so stubborn? and maarte and argh.

I sat down on the other side of the couch she was their staring at me so deathly. "Mr. Edward. Barber. Pano ba yan? Pano tayo magsisimula kung ang layo! layo! mo!" I growl and hesitately sat down next to her, she then grabbed a big book in her bag a book that has all the tagalog word and meaning.

"You have got to be kidding me...."
She giggled and I rolled my eyes at her she then flipped the page to this whole paragraph that has words that I can't reas but... maybe kind of?

"Basahin! mo!" She said pointing at the page, I pretend to look so clueless "Edward your in High School? syempre marunong ka naman magbasa ng mga WORD, dibaaaa!" I giggled and she replied me with a hard punch "Ow! Why do you have to be so ruddee!" I snatch the book at her and started reading it on my mind.

Maymay POV

Pambihira bigla niya na lang kinuha ang book sa akin, nagkaroon tuloy ako ng papercut.

SABIHIN KO BA SA KANYA?

I gazed were I have the cut and I can see a blood coming out slowly, ang hapdi grabe pano ako tityyempo na sabihin sa kanya.

As I was holding my finger, I glance at Edward who is trying hard to read it, I haven't realise but his got really cute eyes, is it just me or when his stressing he looks cute.

"Maymay! I'm doneee!" Edward then hand in my book and put his legs up on the table then gave me a smirk, kaso ang hapdi parin ng finger ko dahil sa papercut.

"Nerdy, are you okay?" Edward asked I look at him worriedly, then my face started to blush.
"C'mon.. tell me..you look like you have seen a sadako." I smiled when he said the sadako part, nakaka impress pag nagtatagalog pala yung mga taong hindi marunong mag salita ng tagalog 😂.

"I'm o-ah!" Paktay na ang daming dugo na lumabas ng karaoon tuloy ng stain yung book "Maymay!" Edward startled and he look at me so worried he was panicking "Damn..it, Maymay what did u do?!" Tumayo si Edward at tinawag ang kanyang maid "Edward wag ka mag-panick papercut lang yan!" Edward look at me confusedly "Ini-snatch mo kasi yung book nagkaroon tuloy ako ng paper cut..." I look down while saying it "I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to..." Nag walk off si Edward, sabi niya kukuha daw siya ng band-aid.

"Manang, ganyan ba talaga yung alaga niyo?" Tanong ko habang binibigyan ako ng orange juice "Si Edward, hindi ah! hinid lang kasi siya sana makisocialise!" Sabi ni Manang "Socialise? Eh siya nga ang my girlfriend shy..shy.. pa siya!" Sambat ko naman napatawa naman si Manang.

"Ahaha mabait yan si Edward! kilalanin mo muna siya.. you may think of him differently..." Mabait? si Edward? pano?
eh wala nga akong maramdaman ng bait.

Bumalik na si Edward at yung Maid niya pumunta na sa kusina para handain kami ng meryenda nakita ko si Edward mag hawak hawak na band aid "Hand..." Sabi niyang galit "Ako na!" Sigaw ko naman "Maymay don't be maarte!!" He grab my hand and genly put the band aid.

"T-thank..you.." Tumingin ako sa likod at kunyari kinukuha ko ang ballpen. "Gwapo bitaw magkalagot kung magkit-an nako imo maayo na side tingali magahanan pa ko nimo pero kung magustuhan tikan basin masakitan lang ako Unya take naman sad ka, Ayaw siya Maymay, BATA PA... basin masikitan" Gwapo nga kaso ang antipatiko naman, kung nakita mo ang good side mo baka magustuhuan pa kita eh. kaso pagnagustuhan kita masasaktan lang ako. tsaka taken ka na naman eh, wag siya Maymay. bata pa... baka masaktan ka lang...

"What did you say?" Nagulat ako ng tinapik niya ko sa balikat minsan talagaaaa naiinis ako sa sarili koh eh! I always said what I thought, Argh Maymay so much for a nerdy kung magiging malandi ka.
