Chapter Thirty Nine: His back..

Maymay POV

"Bumalik po yung Tatay niyo?" tanong ko "Yes and he contact me last night. begging for us to comeback.." kinabahan agad ako nun, pano kaming dalawa ni Edward.

"Pano yung graduation tapos yung prom?" tanong ko naman "I'm not sure.. but please.. don't mention it to Edward.. i'll be the one who's going to tell him.." Laura sigh, and look at the ceiling parang na fe-feel ko na napapaluha na siya parang sinasabi ng isip ko na sabihin sa kanya pero yung puso ko sinasabing wag na masaya ka na, masaya na kayong dalawa.

Pero parang selfish, ang selfish eh, Tatay yun ni Edward we still have to respect him, at tsaka baka masikakabuti kay Edward..

At.. *sigh* ano ba yung pinagsasabi ko its hard to predict this things I should just let Ate Laura lead everything.

Edward POV

I didn't notice the time that I've been sleeping on the couch in Hope's house "Your awake.." I startled when I saw Hope just pop out of nowwhere "You scared me.." I said, Hope replied me a soft giggle and hand in me a muesli bars and an orange juice "Sorry.. is just what I ate every morning.. if you don't mind.." Hope awkwardly said blushing "Its fine.. I never really eat that much if its morning.. well sometimes Maymay cook for me and she just gave me after school so that every morning I could just heat it up.."

"Your the most luckiest person.. "

I stand up and dust myself "Where are you going?" Hope ask "Home.. and remember we still have to do DUTIES.."

Hope and I giggle, and she lead me into the door "Well cya tmr. Mr. Journalist.." She said "See you as well.. Ms. Writer.."

We both shake hands and gave each other a hug and thats when I said good bye.

Edward POV

I'm here at the office waiting for Hope, she texted me that she is going to be late, as I scan the room I saw Hope opening the door, she look around and saw me I then wave at her "Edward!" she shout she open the door and sat down next to me, were not technically close but we both have the same room but seperate tables, you know what i mean were just kadugtong? is that the word? idk..

"So, the boss said he wants to talk to us both..."

"Okay.."

We both head in to the Boss's office Mr. Perajelo's "Hi sir.. good morning.." Hope greet, Mr. Perajelo sat down and Hope and I sat down as well "Hope and Edward.. I have a task for you two.." He said so deep and serious "Okay.. *sigh* We are going on a out of town next week.." I was shock when he said next week, coz next week is valentines day?! how am i supposed to do the extremely surprsise?! and next week is prom as well then the day after that is graduation?!

"Sir.. but thats Graduation.." I demand "I know.. after prom and graduation.. will be straight ahead going to Pampanga.. its were my business meeting will take through and I want my journalist and writer to be with me and note about whats happening.." He didn't care at all he just cares about his work and his daughter.

"I can't go.." I said "Why not??" Mr. Perajelo's voice started to get bigger "Because.. its.. its.. valentines day?!" I said "I dont care but both of you need to be their?! or else Edward Barber.. your cafe will completely shut down and you have to pay for it.. remember thats 200, 000 pesos!"

I clunch both of my fists and trying not to shout at him again, this is sucks how am I supposed to do it!! "Someone can take place in Edward's position." Hope said "Or if you don't want to be with.. you can just quit.." that is an option. but how am I supposed to pay it i've only got 10,000 on my bank and 90,000 on the cafe. is still not enough.. plus were paying the workers..

IF ONLY DAD DIDNT WASTE ALL THE MONEY...
