Chapter 6, Dead Or Alive

Elena glanced at Katherine like she was insane, she wanted to bring Matt back? Elena wanted that more than anything but why would Katherine want Matt alive? She barely even knew him. Katherine glanced at me and then the witches, They weren't positively sure that Matt would come back after 20 years of being dead, It was suspicious, why would Katherine care? Elena thought deep about it and then turned to Katherine.

"Why are you bringing Matt back?" Elena asked

"When I was in hell, Matt was waiting to be collected, after the other side had gone down well I was stuck with him and we spent a lot of time together. He told me about his daughter Sophie, and then his wife Penny joined us but she was took to another place, The Unknown, Matt didn't deserve to die and he has a daughter, I lost Nadia and Sophie lost her dad, he deserves to live" Katherine mumbled

"Wow I didn't realise the elusive Katherine Pierce had a heart" Elena sarcastically replied

"And you ruined the moment" Katherine sighed

"So how are we going to do this?" Evie asked

"We lay his body in a circle of fire?" Katherine asked

"Yes that's correct but we need weapons" Paige glanced at Katherine

"Weapons?" Katherine asked

"Vampires, not just any.. An original and those boys that were obsessed with you in 1864" Evie smirked

"Stefan Salvatore and Damon Salvatore?" Katherine asked

"Yes, they're blood makes a big difference, I need you to give them a call, and tell them to pour ounces of blood into any glass and come here and deliver it to us" Paige instructed

"Elena, will you?" Katherine asked

"Sure" Elena agreed cautiously

Damon heard his phone ring as he was sat watching the football with Stefan he took his phone out and it came up with Elena's name and her picture, he smiled widely and answered it beaming as Stefan glanced over and shook his head.

"Hey" Damon smiled

"Hey.." Elena paused, anxiety shrilling her voice

"What's happened?" Damon asked concerned

"I need you and Stefan to fill two separate glasses with you're own blood, Please don't ask just come to the old warehouse, please it's important" Elena pleaded

"Okay.. We'll be on our way.." Damon paused

"Thank you" Elena replied

"Its okay, see you soon" He smiled and hung up

"What was all that about?" Stefan asked

"I have no idea but Elena said we need two separate glasses of our own blood and to take them to the old warehouse" Damon explained

"That's not normal at all, why would Katherine take Elena and now Elena needs our blood?" Stefan asked

"Stefan it's not a Disney puzzle! it's my girlfriends life lets go!" Damon ordered sarcastically

"So are they coming?" Evie asked

"Yeah" Elena nodded

"Excellent, lets wait for the arrival then" Paige smiled

Minutes later, Stefan and Damon rushed through with 2 glasses of blood, they placed it on the table and they both stood beside Elena, Katherine chuckled as Paige and Evie glanced admiring Stefan and Damon. They poured both glasses of blood in the water turning the water a deep splash of red, Paige went out the room and came back in with Matt's body, he was cold, frozen, they laid him on the table and created a circle of fire, Elena gasped and Stefan and Damon glanced at eachother confused, Katherine's eyes were welling up with tears ready to explode but she fought and held them back blinking.
