Chapter 16, Drunken Habits

Elena and Kol walked back through to see everyone had disappeared, Matt frowned and went up to Elena, He frowned and looked away as Elena smiled widely, Stefan watched from behind a wall as Matt was prepared, Damon walked in and Elena looked confused, he grabbed Elena's hands and sat her down on the sofa again and sat opposite her, Stefan walked through confused as Matt glared at Damon.

"Bringing back her memories isn't going to work this way" Damon sighed

"Damon stop" Matt growled

"No, Elena, you were in love with Matt, and then you met Stefan and fell in love with him. you met me and then you discovered he was a vampire and then Stefan got took away, You spent a lot of time with me, and then we fell In love, Stefan returned and you became a vampire and fell in love with me still and we were really happy" Damon smiled

"Stefan... I remember you Stefan.. I remember you too Damon but I don't remember being in love with you.." Elena frowned

"Do you remember being in love with Stefan?" Hayley asked

"Yeah I do" Elena smiled

"You don't remember?" Damon asked

"No.. I'm sorry Damon.." Elena frowned

"Well done brother.. You got my girl" Damon frowned and walked off

Hayley went after Damon while Elena looked hurt and so did Stefan, Damon walked off and slammed the doors and then punched the walls, hayley grabbed him and stopped him, she could see how hurt he was, he had tears in his eyes that were ready to jump out and flow down his cheeks but they didn't.

"Damon she will remember you soon" Hayley smiled

"She remembers being in love with my brother.. She doesn't love me" Damon frowned

"But Damon she will soon, just give her time" Hayley frowned

"She's made her choice, we both have to accept it" Damon frowned and walked off

Hayley followed in after Damon to see Elena and Stefan in an intimate hug.. Damon finally had tears down his cheeks, Elena turned around to see Damon hurting, he wiped his eyes and walked outside and got in his car and slammed the wheel and cried over and over and over, Elena ran after him and got in the car, he wiped his tears away and looked down.

"Damon.." Elena paused

"No Elena it's fine you can be in love with my brother" Damon mumbled

"I'm sorry Damon but I don't remember loving you" Elena frowned

"I get it Elena!" Damon shouted

"I'm sorry!" Elena exclaimed

"I just want you to know.. I love you Elena I always have and I always will.." Damon paused and got out of the car and walked off

"Damon listen to me" Stefan sighed as he saw Damon

"Forget it..just leave me alone" Damon sighed

"He hates me.." Elena frowned

"No Elena he's just hurt, he loved you so much" Stefan frowned

Damon walked inside and went upstairs, he got changed and saw everyone downstairs sat around in fancy clothes, Elena looked gorgeous, she had straight brown hair with a mini black dress as Stefan was close to her, he looked away and stood next to Hayley, all the girls looked so nice with their black dresses and the boys in smart clothes, they arrived to a rave club and sat around a table, Stefan sat next to Elena and Damon could see they loved each other. He got up and went to the bar, Elena followed him.
