Chapter 12, The departed

Shelia walked through to the kitchen to see Caroline and Katherine sat at the table, Shelia covered up her neck as she saw Caroline, she wore a dark orange summer dress and straightened her hair, she didn't look like Caroline Forbes at all, Katherine who was beside her had her hair curled as usual and a leather jacket with a blue tank top and dark blue jeans. Shelia was sat at the opposite end of the table with a deep wound in her neck and tried to cover it up with her beige jumper.

"Shelia good morning, sorry about trying to kill you, I was just so hungry" Caroline laughed

"Caroline this isn't you" Shelia croaked

"Oh but it is, you should get used to it, Bonnie should be arriving any soon now" Caroline smirked

"Bonnie?" Shelia asked

"Yep Bonnie and Enzo are coming to meet Cade, isn't this exciting!" Caroline exclaimed

"Urgh the witch and her boyfriend, get me a drink" Katherine sighed

"I think you should bandage that wound up Shelia, don't want any vampires attracted to the scent" Caroline winked

"Caroline give her a break she's a 96 year old woman she's got a lot to learn, Shelia the bandages are in the top draw to you're left" Katherine grinned

Shelia turned around and reached for the bandages, she grabbed them and then turned around to see Caroline there, she gasped as Caroline was eyeing her wound and licking her lips, Shelia shook her head in despair as Katherine sat there and read a diary entry that were sent up. Caroline was about to sink her teeth into Shelia's jaw dropping wound and then she heard a familiar voice and Shelia sighed of relief.

"Stay away from her!!!" A voice shouted immediately

Caroline turned around to see her old Best friend Bonnie Bennett stood next to Enzo St. John, Caroline smirked and Katherine turned around and smirked widely, Bonnie wore a long black dress which was a witches from the 1590's, and her hair in a tidy neat Bob and then Cade came rushing through disgusted with Caroline's behaviour.

"Caroline step away from the woman you've done enough!" Cade warned

"The fun was just getting started!" Caroline complained

"Caroline what happened to you? Do you want to be sent straight to hell!?" Cade asked furiously

"She flipped her switch" Katherine interrupted

"Typical, Katherine I'm sure you're not involved in any of this may I ask" cade sighed

"I encouraged her if that's what you're asking" Katherine mumbled

"I don't believe it. Welcome Miss Bennett and mr St. John we have been expecting you" Cade smiled

"Why the hell is she near my aunt?" Bonnie questioned

"She's new she's not violated all our rules just yet" Cade frowned

"What is this place and why are we here?" Enzo asked

"This is the new home instead of the other side, it's the Unknown" Cade Announced

"And we work for you?" Enzo asked

"Yes, and I have a special job for you all today" Cade blurted out

"And what might that be?" Bonnie asked

"You're going to attend Caroline's funeral" Cade announced

Back at the Salvatore house Elena was stood in front of the mirror and looked at her reflection. It was her best friends funeral today and Lizzie and Josie didn't even know, Elena sighed and watched Damon who was still sound asleep In bed and then she walked out of the room and closed the door. She went into Lizzie and Josie's room to see them not there, she peered around the door again and then went downstairs to see them sat in the kitchen colouring pages, Elena sighed of relief and went to the sink and then Stefan came downstairs and stood beside her
