Chapter 44, Never let you go

Damon paced up the room backwards and forwards and then Alannah came downstairs, he stopped and smiled and then hugged her tight, she giggled just like Elena did and then his eyes started to fill with tears. It was going to be the funeral in a few days and he didn't know how to tell Alannah, Damon let her go to Stefan and he walked out through the back and cried and then vamp sped to Christian, he arrived in a massive penthouse and Christian was sat there in his fancy black chair drinking a glass of scotch, Damon snarled and Christian laughed.

"Wheres you're crew?" Christian asked

"What the hell did you do to my damn girlfriend?!" Damon asked and snarled

"I'm guessing she's dead then, how fatal, I'm awfully sorry for you're loss" Christian frowned sarcastically and then laughed

"What made her half human and half vampire?!" Damon asked

"Shhhh I would lower you're voice if I was you, I have hostages here that could hear you" Christian smirked

"Hostages?" Damon asked

"Hayley darling come here" Christian called

Hayley came out all bloody and her clothes were ripped, she frowned and snarled at Christian, she had a desperate help for plea in her eyes, and then Damon looked more shocked as Matt came out the same and so did Sophia, and then Jeremy, Christian laughed and Damon snarled at him, he wanted to rip his heart out immediately.

"Let them go" Damon snarled

"Wouldn't dear Elena want her friends with her at the funeral?" Christian asked

"Elena's dead...?" Matt asked

"Yes all thanks to my serum" Christian laughed

"You're a monster!!!!" Hayley screamed

"Now now little hybrid be careful of that mouth of yours!" Christian warned

"Why are you holding them here?" Damon asked

"Because Damon they are my puppets" Christian smirked

"Just let them go!!" Damon shouted

"Okay fine, you're free to go" Christian sighed

Hayley, Matt,nSophia and Jeremy limped to Damon and out the hotel and then Damon started to walk off and then stopped when he heard Christians voice

"You forgot my invitation to the funeral... You're dead girlfriends funeral, what will you say to you're daughter Damon, you're mummy was an evil cow and I never loved her" Christian laughed

Damon turned around and lunged for Christian grabbing him by the throat and pushing him up against the wall then Christian got a stake and tried to push it towards Damon's heart, Damon and Enzo rushed through and Enzo took the stake and stabbed it now Christians leg and then Stefan snapped his neck and then pushed the stake into his heart as they all watched him desiccate. Tyler ran through with Seliene and looked more shocked than ever.

"Where the hell is Elena??" Tyler asked

"Tyler I think you should sit down..." Stefan paused

"Where's Elena?!" He asked demanding

"She's dead" Damon mumbled

"Dead!? How could you let that happen?!" Tyler shouted

"It wasn't Damon's fault mate" Enzo sighed

"No none of us are mates, she was like a sister to me, she was kind and caring and you let her die!!!!" Tyler shouted and cried and then he walked out

"I'm so sorry.. He's just angry.. I'm sorry for you're loss.. She was a really nice girl" Seliene frowned and walked out after Tyler

Damon, Stefan and Enzo returned home and Damon sat in the room  with a stool with Elena's coffin and opened it, just the two of them, he glanced down at how perfect she looked, he stroked her hair and memorised all the times they had together, she was apart of him and she always was apart of him.

"Elena I got you're justice today, we killed Christian for you, please come home, Elena I can't do this without you and we all knew this was never going to be easy. Alannah misses you, we all do, I need you Elena, I need you and I don't think I can last a second longer without you, I don't know if you can hear me or not but I promise you when Alannah grows up she's going to turn out a selfless, gorgeous little girl just like you was and I'm going to do the best I can for her, I don't want to say goodbye to you Elena, who's going to be ready for that? And I know after the funeral I can see you whenever I want but it's not the same, you can't speak back to me, I can't see you're smile, I need you just one last time, please" Damon begged and cried

"Damon that's not going to help" Katherine interrupted

"Well it's not helping anyone without her here" Damon snarled

"Damon you know you love her and she loves you but you have to move on" Katherine frowned

"How would you know anything about love!? All you've ever done is manipulate us!!! We died for you Katherine! You're just the same vindictive, selfish bitch you've always been so do not tell me how to grieve my dead girlfriend because it should be you in there not her !!" Damon shouted

"I'm sorry..." Katherine paused and walked out

"Dude that was harsh.." Jeremy sighed and closed the doors

"What do you want Gilbert?" Damon asked

"I want to say goodbye to my sister, she wouldn't want you like this" Jeremy frowned

"Well I'm not human Jeremy, I'm not Elena I'm not the good guy I'm the selfish one, I make people's lives a misery! If I never came into her life then she would be happily human and Safe!! And alive!!" Damon shouted

"That's true, but you gave her life purpose Damon... She loved you more than anyone she's ever loved, you gave her everything she wanted and sure you're a dick at times but she saw the good in you and pretending not to feel is wrong, you need to grieve her" Jeremy sighed

"What do you want to hear!? That I feel and it shouldn't of been this way!? Well yes I feel and it sucks!!!" Damon shouted

"That's what humanity is, it's a bitch" Jeremy frowned

"Just say goodbye to you're sister and don't be long" Damon sighed and walked out slamming the doors
