Chapter 36, Secrets and lies

Katherine smirked widely as Damon still clutched onto Elena and Stefan watched in jealousy, Katherine twirled her hair around between her two fingers and watched Stefan's reaction carefully as Damon looked very intrigued, Bonnie stood still and didn't know what to say. Katherine stood in the hospital entrance and laughed loudly, Damon and Stefan glanced at each other in confusion.

"In 1801 I had a mother, I was around 5 years old and she was expecting a baby, a few months later the baby came out and didn't cry, he screamed. My mother was really confused and then Klaus came and said the baby was a demon and needed to be killed. I didn't know who klaus was at the time, he was with Rebekah and Elijah in a carriage and 2 other boys were In the back, I researched them for years and then my brother grew and grew, he was so strong so independent, and he wouldn't let me go out, he was around 5 and I was 10, in 1812 he had changed, whenever I went out he would get really angry and hurt me, it was like a hold he had over me, I loved him very much but sometimes he was too much to handle, I came back to the tent we stayed in and my mother was gone, it was okay.. She was just shopping but their was dead bodies around the tent, I screamed and then I saw Christian and then he woke up, he was turned and had power I had never seen before and ever since that day I've been running for 500 years, self preservation was the only thing that mattered, I never looked back" Katherine explained quietly

"So it was Klaus who turned Christian?" Damon asked

"Oh Damon don't you remember? The first night you met me after you came back from war?" Katherine asked

"Yes we laughed and drank all night in my house" Damon mumbled

"You're missing one key part" Katherine smirked

"I'm confused..." Damon paused

"In 1864 I had arrived at the Salvatore house, I instantly fell in love with Stefan of course but there was this thing about Damon that I was intrigued by, so I spent the night with him, danced and drank all night" Katherine smirked

FLASHBACK- MYSTIC FALLS 1864- DAMONS LOUNGE

"Miss Katherine you look very beautiful tonight" Damon grinned

"Thank you mr Salvatore, pleasure to meet you" Katherine smiled

"So miss pierce how long will you be staying?" Damon asked

"However long you want me to" Katherine smirked

"Well that would most certainly be forever" Damon playfully nudged her

"Well then, forever it is" Katherine smiled

"Miss pierce, what a pleasure to see you here, I'm Jonathan I run the ball room now" The man smirked

"I recognise you from somewhere..." Katherine paused

"Well I have been known for my work especially for making people bloody, special effects are my thing" he winked

"Damon I think we should go..." Katherine whispered

"Oh no please love I don't mean to startle you, have a nice evening" he smiled and walked away

"Who was that?" Damon asked

"I'm not sure... Let's go.." Katherine paused

REALITY

"Yeah we met that man who did the ball room? What's you're point Katherine?" Damon asked

"That wasn't just any man.. That was Christian" Katherine sighed

"Wait so you're telling me you're vampire original brother got let in into my house and imposed as a ball room instructor, are you nuts?" Damon asked confused

"It's true..." Stefan sighed

"Stefan? You knew this?"'Elena asked

"After he had left I caught him going upstairs into Katherine's room, I stopped him and followed him in" Stefan frowned

"Care to elaborate brother?" Damon asked

FLASHBACK- MYSTIC FALLS- 1864- KATHERINES ROOM

"Excuse me you shouldn't be in here" Stefan laughed

"I'm just appreciating the beauty of miss pierce" the man smirked

"You know miss pierce?" Stefan asked

"Come inside boy" he smiled

"What do you know about miss pierce?" Stefan asked and locked the door as he walked in

"Stefan Salvatore I am Christina Petrova and Katherine is my sister, I want her to pay for what she did, she abandoned me, I want you're father to poison you're blood don't tell him why, just say you think she's a vampire and then she will be staked, you will not remember my name or anything I just told you except kill Katherine pierce" Christian compelled Stefan and walked out

REALITY

"so you're saying Christian compelled you to get you're father to kill Katherine?" Bonnie asked

"Yes, during my transition I remembered everything... His face.. His name, I knew who he was but I didn't want to scare you" Stefan sighed

"You let an axe murder vampire original kidnap us and you didn't think to let me know!?" Elena asked furious

"It was the right thing to do, what does he want with you Katherine?" Stefan asked

"Revenge, for me to portray as his little puppet" Katherine mumbled

"Nadia knew him? Correct?" Damon asked

"Yes... Nadia met him he took her In for 3 years and then Nadia went to Cade" Katherine sighed

"Is Rebekah on trial?" Elena asked

"Yeah at the minute, why?" Bonnie asked

"We need answers" Elena demanded
