Elena sat up and glanced at Stefan, she wiped her eyes and moved away from Damon releasing his grudge. Stefan walked out and Elena ran after him and left Damon on the floor, Stefan leant against the table, Elena stood next to him and look down as she could see him hurt.
"Elena what was that?" He asked
"I couldn't sleep and I needed to help Damon with his feelings for.." Elena paused
"For who?" Stefan asked
"His feelings for... Hayley! I know its crazy.." Elena paused
"For hayley? But why were you laid on his chest?" Stefan asked
"We was talking about options to help him get over her as she doesn't know and then i must of fell asleep" Elena lied
"So nothing happened with you and Damon?" Stefan asked
"Nope not at all" Elena lied
"Ok, i'm going to go to bed, i'll see you in the morning" Stefan smiled
Stefan kissed Elena's cheek and went back to bed, she sighed and then frowned, she saw Hayley behind her in her white nightgown and she didn't look happy.
"You dragged me into you're love triangle!?" Hayley asked
"Please Hayley just pretend Damon has a crush on you, he caught Damon and I!" Elena whispered
"You were with Damon?" Hayley asked
"Yeah..." Elena paused
"Elena you're getting married tomorrow!!!" Hayley shrieked
"I know i know.. i just need to focus on my relationship with Stefan" Elena frowned
"You're going back to Stefan?" Damon interrupted
"I'm gonna go...." Hayley whispered and walked away
"Damon..." Elena paused
"No its fine i get it, you can't hurt him.. Elena you know I love you but i can't do this anymore" Damon frowned
"I know.." Elena frowned
"I hope you have an amazing wedding, and that you get to have the life you always wanted" Damon smiled faintly
"Damon i'm so sorry" Elena croaked
"Shhh, don't be, we had our time baby, now its over" he whispered
"You'll still be at the wedding.. won't you?" Elena asked as a tear dripped from her eye
".. of course i will" Damon smiled and wiped a tear from Elena's cheek
"Thank you, Damon" Elena cried
"Its okay, you do what you have to do okay, you're going to live a happy fulfilled life with Stefan.. i'll see you in the morning" Damon smiled faintly and walked back upstairs and saw Matt Donovan in his batman shirt and shorts, he chuckled and then Matt noticed Elena on the sofa, And then he looked back at Damon.
"Are you and Elena back together?" He asked
"She chose Stefan" Damon frowned
I'm sorry this chapter is really short but the next one will be much longer as i didn't know what to write as it was just about Elena choosing Stefan but don't panic delena shippers, it'll be a twist
