Chapter 18, The Big Decision

I'm gonna start adding pictures from screencapped/ google images, Its not mine but the editing is, They will be at the ending of the chapter and I'll do a preview of what the next chapter is about by explaining the photo and I'm going to do around 42 Chapters for this book so approximately the wedding will be in chapter, 28 to 30, then I will do the lives of each character for a time jump. The proposal will be in this Chapter.

Elena stood up and walked away, seeing Katherine really messed her head up, she fount everyone at Russo's, Damon was sat with his hand on Rebekah's thigh, no surprise. Elijah, Klaus, Kol and Finn were sat together and Stefan was sat waiting for Elena. She felt like she was warming up to Stefan in a way but she still needed to know what happened with her and Damon.  Stefan smiled widely and Damon stared, he continued to stare as Elena sat next to Stefan, She wasn't sure why they were there and then Klaus stood up with a glass of beer in his hand.

"Cheers, to finding this dreadful creature hunting us down and we will kill Freya and her minions, to family" Klaus toasted

"To family" Everyone toasted

"Stefan, what's wrong?" Elena asked

"Yeah brother, anything you would like to tell us?" Damon asked

"No.." Stefan paused

"Well lets go sort this thing out" Klaus grinned

Everyone went to the witch lab, Damon strolled of with Rebekah hand in hand, I sighed quietly and went to walk away and then Stefan grabbed Elena's arm, she turned around and everyone was gone and it was just her and Stefan alone in the perfect neat tidy restaurant, He smiled and got down on one knee and pulled a box out, Elena looked confused and then he opened it, Elena gasped as she saw a massive diamond ring, He Smiled widely and she was speechless.

"Elena Gilbert, We've come so far and when I lost you, I lost myself. Stefan Salvatore isn't anything without Elena Gilbert by his side, And i never want to risk losing you again, You get what i'm trying to say?" Stefan asked

"You have to say it!" Elena exclaimed

"Okay... Elena Gilbert will you take this token of my love and accept to be my wife through sickness, in health, and forever together, you don't have many memories but we can make more till death do us part, Elena will you do me the honour of marrying me?" Stefan asked and chuckled

"Stefan..." Elena paused

"Will you?" Stefan asked

".. yes!!" Elena exclaimed

Stefan got up and swung Elena around and kissed her passionately and then placed the gorgeous ring on her finger, she gasped as it fitted perfectly and it was beautiful, She smiled widely, she wasn't sure what she wanted until now, she wanted Stefan Salvatore, and she had him.

"Stefan its.. beautiful" Elena smiled admiring the ring

"We have to tell everyone, lets go" Stefan exclaimed and dragged Elena

Everyone was in the witch lab practicing for the big night when Stefan dragged Elena in smiling widely, Rebekah was sat next to Damon, Hayley was next to Elijah as he held baby hope and Klaus, Finn and Kol and Matt were stood around the table, Elena smiled and Stefan held her hand, everyone looked confused as they saw the ring.

"Everyone we have news.." Elena paused

"I asked Elena to marry me and she said yes!" Stefan exclaimed

The expression on Damon's face soon turned to hurt and anger and sadness, he didn't look happy at all, Elena saw his reaction and her smile dropped as he walked out the room. She followed him down the corridor shutting the door behind her.
