Stefan and Elena looked at each other in despair, where had Damon gone? They searched everywhere but he was no where to be found, Stefan searched for Caroline and she was gone too. And then Stefan and Elena saw Hayley and the originals stood outside the grill looking worried and troubled.
"Have you seen Tyler?" Hayley asked frantically
"No, have you seen Damon?" Elena asked
"No not since last night" Hayley looked away
"Last night?" Stefan asked
".. He came by and asked for help" Hayley mumbled
"About what?" Elena asked
"He told me not to say anything.." Hayley paused
"Hayley please" Elena pleaded
"He wanted to take the cure Elena.." Hayley paused
"You're joking?" Stefan questioned
"He doesn't want to live an eternity without you Elena" Hayley smiled
"Have u seen Caroline?" Stefan asked
" no" Hayley replied
"I've fount them all.. They are in New York" klaus interrupted
"Why?" Stefan asked
"I'm not sure I think they are being held hostage by a woman named Tamara" klaus muttered
"TAMARA?!" Stefan asked concerned
"Yes.. It's a 3 day journey" klaus smirked
"We need to get going then" Stefan ordered
Elena, Stefan, klaus and Hayley travelled for days hiking up hills and crossing streams and then klaus and Hayley went to get a tent and stefan and Elena went to get firewood. They were finally alone and they both sat down collecting wood from the ground.
"Elena.." Stefan paused
"Yeah?" Elena asked
"What would of happened if you never crossed wickery bridge that night and drove back to Damon?" Stefan asked
"I would be human, but i'm human now.." Elena paused
"So why did you risk that chance?" Stefan questioned
"Because I loved you Stefan and if I did go to Damon it would be different, I would be human and that would mean i never turned into a vampire and you would be hooking up with Katherine, but i'm human now" Elena frowned
